Feminism is literally an anti-men movement.
[–]40moreyears 38 points39 points40 points 2 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
They’ll tell you it’s not anti-men and it is about equal rights. We know the truth. The equal phase has long passed and we’re into the “gimme more power” phase.
[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Feminism has always been a plural movement with diverse branches, there was never a time when you could say that feminism was true equality.
Simply the legitimate objectives were conquered and the majorities changed, and obviously the feminists who are based on hatred now have the power.
[+]El_mero_mero69 -6 points-5 points-4 points 2 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link
No. Feminism is a real movement. It si nos anti-men. The diference is that actual feminists make it seem like it.
[–]Shot-Presentation721 6 points7 points8 points 2 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link
No, feminism was a real movement. That hasn't been the case for years.
[+]El_mero_mero69 -6 points-5 points-4 points 2 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link
It is different to "be a real movement" and to make it in the wrong moment and wrong place. For example, Feminism should be supported for those women that really are seemed as things in some places. The problem is that most of them, say that Feminism is required in places that actually are equitative between men and women.

Would you like to rewrite that in a manner that doesn't make me think you're a poorly-written bot?
[–]El_mero_mero69 -5 points-4 points-3 points 2 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link
The matter is that you understand, not to prove that I'm not a robot. If it's that difficult to you, I invite you to study another language so we can talk in a way that you can understand. I know Deutsch, Spanish, Japanese and English (not too good at it), and you?
[–]Shot-Presentation721 7 points8 points9 points 2 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link
I wouldn't brag about your linguistic knowledge while trying to be a pretentious fuckwad in a language you're clearly mediocre in at best.
[–]El_mero_mero69 -1 points0 points1 point 2 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
A mediocre man is that one that insults a minor that doesn't even talks english and can't even understand what he is saying. The point is that you don't get that I am not protecting feminists. If you don't agree that we should support women that are seen as things, it's because you are retard or something like that, you are the equivalent to what a feminazi is, but for men.

No, a mediocre man is one who can't write a coherent sentence and then brags about his linguistic skills. I have no idea what your previous comment was trying to say, and based on what I was able to understand from your most recent comment, I don't think I care to.
Fuck off.

You are stupid if you are not against people that treat women as things. If you can't understand this sentence, I will comprehend that you have more chromosomes than I do.

Let me ask you this: 1. do you think women and men are treated equally by the justice system in the western societies? 2. Do you think women are paid less then men in western societies? 3. Do you think boys and girls have the same opportunities in the western education systems?
I will gladly elaborate on my views related to the toxicity of feminism once you answer my questions. You don't need to google for ideas, it is more important what you feel about these issues. :-)
[–]Dirtroads2 3 points4 points5 points 2 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
No, but they should be. By criminal, civil and family law they should but aren't.
I think they are, but not the same way the feminazis think. Kinda complicated but when you compare apples to apples the pay gap isn't 30 cents. It varies from industry and job. And when feminized get to cherry pick data (just like gun grabbers) they make it seem like a huge difference when it isn't
Absolutely not. I wasn't given many many of the opportunities and choices the other kids had. While the females were definetly given favoritism, the rich kids got the majority of it. And since the rich girls already got favoritism, the rich boys would use mommies and daddies money. Leaving me with Jack shit. That's okay. They all ended up pill heads and heroin addicts so fuck em (I also have a really disgusting story about the spoiled cunt I went to school with and her brand new 2005 mustang that she changed the leather seats on..... 4 times)
[–]Rol9x 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Well, I am glad that we agree on these answers. The reason I asked you is that a lot of people would disagree with us because that is what the propaganda tells them. And this is probably one of the things that is not only disgusting but it will hurt society on a long term basis.
But what is really interesting and I hope it will answer your question is that these things were achieved by a gradual change in the states policies, that forced authorities to change laws and direct budgets to discriminate against men and offer women more privileges.
Even more worrying, the feminist theory of criminology forces many dangerous changes in criminal law., Moving the burden of proof from the accusers to the accused is one of the worst, in my opinion. Sure, it may sound great to some people: victims shouldn't need to prove they were abused, so that they do not need to go through the traumatising events again and the rapists/abusers shoud prove their innocence. Unfortunately, this way of thinking is extremely toxic, as the reverse burden in these cases could open a can of worms. Once the principle is there, the law impose this reverse burden in other cases that coud destroy the life of those wrongly accused. I mean, look at the cases where people are wrongfully convicted and imagine how their numbers will grow higher, as it is almost impossible for most of us to prove that we didn't do something. (I've been at home the whole day today and I have no way to prove this! Imagine if someone accuses me of something and I have to prove that I didn't do it!) But the real problem is that these ideas are already part of the way most of the justice professionals see things.
In the UK, feminists organisations accused the government that the number of prosecuted rape cases had fallen in the last years. But they do not seem to care that it is impossible to prove that something happens when there are no witnesses and all the trial will be "she says,he says". Even worse, a few years ago, a sheriff's court in Scotland decided to muddle the waters by acccepting a rape case where the accused was acquitted by the crown court and rule that he was guilty. Imagine this: nobody can be trialled twice for the same thing, but they forced this case in a civil court because they could not get a criminal conviction as they wanted. And the sheriff decided - without a jury - that there was enough evidence against the person that was acquited by a jury of his peers. Not only that but a government agency paid for all the expenses AGAINST the accused. So let me say it again:feminist pressure groups forced the government to finance a case against a person that was already trialled and acquited for the same crime. And now they are pushing for other cases like this in order to "improve" the system. Great improvement, indeed, to be convicted without any evidence but the accusation statement. "Your honour, he did it!"-"Guilty!"
This is one of the most important reasons why I keep saying that feminism is a toxic ideology that is destroying the very fabric of our society, changing things in a way that would have a huge negative impact on both men and women. As people have no clue about these things, they still believe that somehow it is still about equality.
[–]Dirtroads2 -1 points0 points1 point 2 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
The original femmanist movement or whatever you call it, say 50's to maybe late 60's/early 70's. They actually wanted shit.that was right. Like to drive. In the 1980's women couldn't open a bank account without a husband or man (father)
So good has come. The problem is the extremists have taken over and it no longer means the same thing. Bombing places makes you a terrorist, not a fighter for right when you take away people's right to life
[–]Rol9x 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
We are talking about present, aren't we?First of all, I have to say that it is difficult to discuss all these things in the right context, as the world was not a single state. In some countries women had different financial rights than in others and I never heard of any restrictions on women's right to drive. I have to say that the real changes - the right to education (and higher education), the right to vote - were not the exclusive result of feminism, as they like to make people believe. The society went through a lot of changes in the last 100 years. And they were not made exclusively by feminists.
One of the persistent lies in the feminist narrative is that they were only granted the right to vote in the 20th century because of their campaigning. The truth is that by that time very few men were allowed to vote. Once the war was over, it was a huge pressure to allow more people to vote. People = men AND women. In the uk, an all-male Parliament granted this right to 8.5 million women and 5.6 million men. Do you think feminists did anything for those men? What they actually did in those years was to shame men into enlisting for war.
I would also be a bit more careful to avoid the feminist propaganda, Please, compare these two sentences: A) Women were not allowed to Open A Bank Account. At least, not without their husband or a male relative's permission until the Equal Credit Opportunity Act of 1974. and B) Banks could refuse women a credit card until the Equal Credit Opportunity Act of 1974 was signed into law. Prior to that, a bank could refuse to issue a credit card to an unmarried woman, and if a woman was married, her husband was required to cosign. Do you see any difference?
To summarise: things changed in time and the world as we know today is a lot more different than it was even 40 years ago. Women not only enjoy the same rights as men, but they have a lot more privileges in society, in justice, education, health and many other fields. Privileges that are obvious in the way they are treated, in the money they receive for different issues, in the positions they can claim as exclusively theirs. In order to stay relevant, feminists push for more privileges and perpetuate myths that have a negative impact on men and on society - and, of course, on women. Their ideology is toxic and dangerous and we have no duty to support it, as it is just a political movement pushing society in the wrong direction and hiding behind false good intentions.

I think you are missing what I am saying.
I'm saying the idea and what most people think are what I said. It's the idea that women can and should do anything a man can. Which is perfectly fine. I say 100% equality. I sign up for the draft? Every female should be forced at the same time. No special treatment. Equal is equal
My daughter has the same rules her twin brother does. If they wanna shoot my guns (lil 22) they have to clean it. No cleaning means they can't shoot and sometimes she doesn't shoot because she doesn't want to clean the gun. Which is fine. It's her choice.
But know what? When it comes to fires and chopping wood, she's the 1 who helps me. She loves it. I bought her a smaller axe that's green because she wanted it. She chops wood, carries and stacks (not very good due to her age but still) and when it comes time to build the fire she's the 1 that does it. If my son doesn't wanna do the work, he doesn't get to have the fun part of it. Building and placing sticks in.
Both kids wash dishes. Both shovel the snow. Both wash clothes and clean. There are no boy chores and girl chores. There are only chores the kids do and they alternate everyweek. In the spring they are ganna start helping me cut the lawn every week. If they help, they get ice cream from the store. If they don't wanna help, they can sit there and watch me and the wife eat out hagen doz/ben n Jerry's pints or go play. If they work they get rewarded and the reward is the same for both
[–]Rol9x 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
First of all, you did not say that. But it's fine, it doesn't really matter.
Second of all, I wonder: is it accurate what you and other people think about feminism? Because if your understanding of feminism is equal tratment, you are far from reality. I mean, you have a very personal and practical approach to these things and I can understand why. But they do NOT mean feminism in any way. When you talk about equality, feminists want to achieve other things. It doesn't make any difference how you sort things out in your house, feminists always wanted to force you to raise your kids the way THEY wanted. In some countries they even succeeded. They want to take some of your rights and freedoms and to accept that women can have more rights than men. This is what people can't understand, because they are blinded by the big lie the feminist ideology pulled over their eyes, that they fight for equality. Feminists want you to accept that myths like gender inequality, glass ceiling, gender pay gap are real, while they hide the truth and fully support the "glass cellar" and the gender disparities in education, health and life expectancy that negatively impact men.
So let me make it clear: the feminism they promote is not the feminism you think they represent. You think of equality, they push for privilege. That's that.

Turn to the dictionary, my friend. the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes. Straight from Oxford. That sounds good, its just that now its more about putting men down that raising both sexes up.
[–]Dirtroads2 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
True. And femanazis tend to be hardcore left. And alot of hardcore left people don't like actual definitions. They like to make their own up. Look at the gun debate.
Did you know, a women is most likely to be abused in a same sex relationship. The partner most likely by number per 100,000 to abuse a women is a lesbian cop. Followed by male cop followed by lesbian.
A man is least likely to be abused in a same sex relationship. Most likely to be abused by a female cop partner.
Those are numbers from the Obama administration. Tell me more about how evil men are.....

Hey just wanted to clear up a common misconception. The "far left" is made up by Marxists (on the left authoritarian side) and anarchists (on the left libertarian side) and they are both pro-gun. Liberals are the ones that are anti-gun and though liberals may consider themselves leftists (but not far left by any stretch of the imagination) leftists don't consider themselves liberals. Most leftists consider liberals to be center right.
Okay just wanted to clear that up real quick in case it is the gun thing that makes you think badly of the far-left.

If it is not anti men. Stop acting like it. Stop blaming all problems in men. Stop uaing bad science like wage gap. Stop sterotyping all men are evil. Start asking for equal punishment for same crimes. Stop making laws according to gender.

This! "It's not anti man!"
MANsplaining, MANterrupting, MANspreading, HEpeating, toxic MASCULINITY, trying to remove traces of "man" from words like woman, human, mankind. Telling men they cannot have an opinion on women's (sorry, womyxn's!) issues while riding rough shod all over men's issues.
It may not be anti-man, but as it sure looks that way to outsiders and as someone who was feminist but has now left the movement it sure started to feel that way. It's the main reason I left the movement!

Call out this fallacy when used, it's manipulation with the intention of insinuating men are selfish so it supports the narrative of men feeling “threatened” due to a perceived lose of “privileges”.
You must understand their language in order to call them out publicly.
