Women be like: don’t say more than 15 partners

[–]itsokaytobeknight 113 points114 points  (16 children) | Copy Link

You’re lucky to find a woman who hasn’t had 15 during her college years.

[–]mscordia 60 points61 points  (10 children) | Copy Link

More like highschool years. And I'm from a country that is supposed to be conservative.

I think you forgot adding one more ONE.

[–]crynoS1 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

So you wouldn’t like to have 15 partners?

[–]iCircletheDrain 40 points41 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

"This just in: Women with ungodly body counts less likely to stay satisfied with one man."

In other news, water wet.

I love you! Haha I am lurking on black pill and saw your comment, you are doing gods work

Plot twist. Higher standards. They know what’s out there and don’t tolerate as much bullshit.

[–]Fiery-But-Peaceful 25 points26 points  (11 children) | Copy Link

Nope. Sexual promiscuity is a sign of low self-esteem, not high standards. Thats like saying a prostitute "knows what she wants," because she accepted money for sex. A woman having a one night stand is just pro-bono prostitution.

Either way, more sexual partners equals higher divorce rate, thats all that matters.

[–]lazypuppycat 3 points4 points  (6 children) | Copy Link

Or it could be that some women have great self-esteem and just like having lots of sex. Does there have to be a sad, shady reason for women to like sex with multiple partners?

[–]Fiery-But-Peaceful 13 points14 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

How many men have you had sex with? No judgement. Maybe you're biased?

[–]lazypuppycat 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy Link

Same question: how many people have you had sex with? Maybe you are biased. If I say a few, then I’m at least unbiased. If I said a lot, then I’d be at most a counter example of the trend. And either way you didn’t answer my question.

[–]Fiery-But-Peaceful 11 points12 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Well casual sex and attitudes about sex comes with a lot of risks; STD's, even with condoms you can still get herpes, emotional and mental baggage, increases chance of being raped, risk of pregnancy and abortion, increased drug use, etc, all of this for something that isnt necessary. Nobody in the history of the world has died from lack of causal sex.

So I wouls say that logically its more intelligent not to engage in causal sex, so if you take the risk and do so, something must be driving you.

Ive had sex with 1 girl, even though I had the opportunity to have sex many more. Its something that is for me, very intimate, and i want to keep it that way. If I could go back and not have sex, I would though .

[–]lazypuppycat 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

I’m going to just ignore that rape part because rape should not be a consequence of seeking consensual sex and isn’t ultimately up to victims to prevent so I don’t think it belongs in the list.

Sex inherently risks pregnancy. That could lead to an abortion. STDs yes also a risk. Those don’t have to be a big cause of divorce. Unless you get married because of a baby then get a divorce because you only got married for the kid.

Drug use? Maybe from a partying life-style but that’s not causality either. (Sex == drugs?)

Emotional baggage I guess if you’re involved with a lot of people emotionally but is it emotionally or is it casual then??

I’m not saying I would have sex with a lot of partners, but the eagerness to find fault in people (read: women) who do is odd to me. Especially when it isn’t some guarantee of a tragic life of emotional and relationship distress. But that’s the picture people root for.

I just think more interesting than the statistic itself is the way that people just seem so eager to jump on the statistic, like they’ve been waiting around for it, for the big told-you-so.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

`` like they’ve been waiting around for it, for the big told-you-so.``

Because bluepillers claim N count is irrelevant

[–]bosskidz99 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Can’t people realize they are whores and like to fuck countless women/ men before getting married 😂 like who needs to go through the whole marriage process especially after dating for probably months or even years to realize this

[–]lazypuppycat 2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

And for that matter, correlation is not causality.

[–]Fiery-But-Peaceful 12 points13 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Its not correlation, its a well known fact that girls with low self-esteem have a higher sexual-count. That doesnt make them bad or evil people though.

[–]lazypuppycat 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

That’s still not causality. Causality would be “having sex with more partners often leads to low self-esteem which weakens the marriage and leads to more divorce.”

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

men were made to have as much sex as possible

[–]LePetitPhagette[S] 24 points25 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Certainly a plausible explanation. Alternatively, women with less parters are better capable of picking long-term spouses.

[–]lazypuppycat 2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Why would that be, if it were true and if you were to guess?

[–]meme_harder1 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

Probably because they have seen the train wreck lives of their slutty friends.

[–]lazypuppycat 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

So they know their slutty friends have picked bad partners? Any failed marriage could then be an example of that. Lots of marriages don’t last. Does that really limit the bad examples for people with fewer partners to look at to only the examples from people who’ve had a lot of partners?

[–]captaindestucto 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Then you'd think they'd be able to choose more wisely in the first place. Probably more impulsive and likely to grow bored, which is what a high partner count suggests to most people (the average is something like 5, nowhere near 16 BTW).

I have no interest in shaming women for having a normal range of experience but if you're a guy interested in finding an SO there's good reason to avoid those who've been slinging it around.

[–]lazypuppycat 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

That might be what is suggests to you. Men are so quick to speak how women’s sex lives make them feel. So much less conversation from them on what their fellow men are up to or what it suggests...

the way that this statistic is so enticing to everyone I think says more than the correlation itself does. Like they’ve been waiting around for a reason to throw out a big I told you so. there is a reason this is the black pill sub. But this ideology is spread in a lot of places. No one is making anyone to date people with high body counts. But people seem to take it so personally when someone else does something with their life. Plenty of men sling it around. Let them all date each other since they seem to have a similar view on relationships. Men who sleep around look for SOs too.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Actually, that's not so much a plot twist but the whole argument. It's not that they don't tolerate bullshit it's that they think that the grass is greener so they will have no problem leaving her decent partner because he doesn't compare to the ubermensch that would have flings with her.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

People gain higher and higher amounts of partners get addicted to partner novelty factor in the sense that they will always enjoy romance with newer partners over older partners.

Also, they are more likely to succumb to the 'grass is greener' outlook whenever a problem small and petty, or major arises in the relationship, and will have more readiness to dump their partner and move on to new ones, which is actually another way of them gaining higher partner counts in the first place.

[–]Nimtzsche 49 points50 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Low quality women

[–][deleted] 42 points43 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

...But have 100% success in cuckold marriage

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Probably has a lot to do with the types of men they choose for partners too.

[–]driedoutmilk 7 points8 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Probably has a lot to do with who they actually even got all the numbers from and who’s fact checking , women don’t have to fuck under 15 people to be a good woman to marry

[–]BrownHedgehog64 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

The divorce rate per marriage says otherwise, lots of unsuccessful marriages nowadays.

[–]hopfield14 points [recovered] (5 children) | Copy Link

That rate seems excessively high

[–]starwell0 12 points13 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

Well women weren’t supposed to have sex with that many men unless she was a prostitution. It’s high, but it makes sense.

[–]holoworld3 2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

You guys are aware you can get to 16 by having sex with one person a year for 16 years right? Doesn’t exactly sound that promiscuous when you actually think about it.

[–]bosskidz99 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

It says in the title different partners

[–]lazypuppycat 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

And how many were they supposed to have sex with?

[–]sawyer94117 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

So you're telling me I can sleep around and still get a retirement plan?

I don't see the problem.

[–]teamsluts 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

“Journal of Marriage and Family” lmao ok boomer

Do we really think they’re providing great scientific insight in to the ramifications of being a sl00t?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (9 children) | Copy Link

Reading the article I legit can't tell where you got that number.

Could you highlight something from the article?

[–][deleted]  (8 children) | Copy Link

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (7 children) | Copy Link

That's not from the study you linked though. The wiki quote claims to be citing a study from 2010, this one was published in 2004. Have you even read the study you linked? It doesn't even mention number of partners.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

I understand that the Wikipedia author is quoting the study you linked.

But the study the author is quoting doesn't claim that women with 16 or more sexual partners prior to marriage had an 80% rate of subsequent divorce. I don't know where the author got that from, it seems like you have no idea either. Where in the primary literature that you're quoting does it say that?

[–][deleted]  (4 children) | Copy Link

[permanently deleted]

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

It seems to me like he has. It doesn't say so in the study he is quoting, perhaps a misunderstanding. You can't cite anything from the specific study either. It seems to be made up.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

You're still not citing the study. I accept that there is a correlation. But what you're claiming in the title isn't supported by the study you linked to, you should delete your post. You're spreading misinformation.
