Not splitting up is not always an option and it should be clarified that, of course, there should be equitable ways to leave a marriage for all parties involved - and do so before potential conflicts escalate. Men enjoying equitable opportunities to split whilst remaining as involved with their children as the other parent is one way of ensuring that.
