I wasn't aware of that site, I'll post an alternate link from there in the comments. Thanks!

Can't forget the mandatory mention of Feminist controlled opposition subreddit, MensL*b

Potentially faster archive link: https://ghostarchive.org/archive/KaeUf

Gotta love that "MRAs don't as why there is inequality".

The answer of course is that if a feminists asks why there is inequality, the answer invarliably must be "it's the men's fault".

MRAs do ask why and do have answers, it's just feminists don't like them, and they want to "dig deeper" until we get to the "real" reason, which is men bad.

I tried interacting on that sub on that very question and it was so frustrating. They're so entrenched and they have a specific definition of MRAs as nothing but anti-feminists.

Plenty of comments on that thread that I can respect even if I disagree with their arguments and/or conclusions. And there are several I can agree with.

But the lol-MRAs-are-just-incels-who-hate-women make me want to jump off a bridge. Women go through plenty of unfair shit that we don’t have to, but the idea that those roles aren’t reversed in other ways is delusional. Also, I do like how in one breath some of those responses talk about how men can’t possibly understand what women go through (of course we can’t), but in the same breath they’ll tell us exactly what we go through. Women are just superior beings I guess.

Yeah notice how any response that might have pointed out the logical fallacies and hypocrisy in the OP was deleted for "Not coming from a feminist perspective"

THAT is how you maintain an echo chamber, and is the reason MRM spaces generally are not.

And this is never going to go away... because to rip off a LBJ quote: if you convince women that the best man on Earth is lowlier than the lowliest of women they will empty their pockets for you.

What idiot asks a feminist a fucking thing? You might as well discuss Black Lives Matter with III%.

Statements should not be dismissed for being made by a feminist alone. Instead, disagreement should result from opinions, arguments, statements, actions, and so on. Look at their claims in a fair and open manner and if so, explain the issues you see with that claim/figure/argument/term/etc. If a feminist makes a valid point, acknowledge it. This, of course, does not deny that there will be moments when it becomes clear that your disagreements are not easily solvable and as such, moving on will be a more productive use of your time. In the end, one has to prioritize the most productive use of one's time - but that does not mean that one has to assume everything a self-proclaimed feminist says would be wrong by default.

Nah feminists do make good points at times about misogyny and patriarchy. Bringing patriarchy back would be terrible for both men and women for all the reasons they say. It's just that 1) not everything is the fault of patriarchy; and 2) we're not in a hard patriarchy (yet).

Don't get me wrong, it is no problem to disagree - it is just that the feminist affiliation alone should not be the reason. I certainly disagree with the usage of the term patriarchy, see it doing serious harm in the way it frames gender issues and do not see society moving toward a state where such usage would be more constructive or accurate.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
