It's more like women are better at remembering the small things like dates and addresses while men have a harder time remembering those small things. When it comes to harder things like changing a tire or car battery see how many wives call or act like they don't know how. Women are better at certain things, and so are men. There have been plenty of studies on the subject. If you put a single task in front of both sexes the man is more likely to to finish it faster and better then the women, while if you put multiple tasks up to do at the same time women tend to do it faster and better. The thought process of the sexes are also very similar at remembering detail, while women will remember a lot of small things better, men will remember one subject better. There are always exceptions, but it's like a 75% average in those studies. So it's almost like men and women are meant to work together.
