ASAP took a W, she will be the one to pay him child support.

how naive

[–]Man_of_culture_112 0 points1 point  (17 children) | Copy Link

how so?

[–]gratis_eekhoorn 2 points3 points  (16 children) | Copy Link

to think a man will get the custody and child support and not the other way around

Men tend to win when they fight for it.

oh shoot, guess we should tell all the men who got screwed over by family courts that all they had to do was just fight and there is no discrimination against them whatsoever

just what you'd expect from a person who sees invisible "misogyny" in place of misandry

[–]gratis_eekhoorn 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

there is some misogyny there but discrimination against men does exist in family courts, it's one of the main things that draw people to the mensrights

[–]RatDontPanic[S] -4 points-3 points  (11 children) | Copy Link

Yes that is very true, we should.

[–]gratis_eekhoorn 6 points7 points  (10 children) | Copy Link

who needs feminists when male advocates themselves deny anti male discrimination exists

as if I'll believe the words of the very people who make their living by screwing over men but I'll play,

> A Massachusetts study examined 2,100 fathers who asked for custody and pushed aggressively to win it. Of those 2,100, 92 percent either received full or joint custody, with mothers receiving full custody only 7 percent of the time. Another study where 8 percent of fathers asked for custody showed that of that 8 percent, 79 percent received either sole or joint custody (in other words, approximately 6.3 percent of all fathers in the study).

maybe they are fathers who are absolutely sure that their wife wont get the custody (often because they are extremely abusive or an awful person in general otherwise it's extremely unlikely for a woman to lose the custody of her kids) so they see a reason to push for it?

this entire article is just a hypocritical attempt of some lawyers to clear themselves and putting the blame on their ''clients'' (or spouses of their clients aka their preys) instead, basically: ''hey, our system is not biased, men dont get custody because they dont ask for it, it's not our fault it's theirs''

Lol, how being pictured as a loving father is misandric? Even if it’s implied he’s the weak one in this relationship. There’s nothing wrong in being the weaker party.

There’s so much real misandry in the world and you focus on this?

The misandry part is what's written in the comment of the tweet, not the image.

No, my point is the post in the picture is denigrating the man in the picture for what he's doing. That is misandry.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
