Ok,so she starts with serious issues like the protests in iran and anti-abortion laws just to conclude that is not okay for men generally to just say that they are touch starved? why do all of these posts come from a bizarre thought pattern.

They have to operate from a weird twisted view like that where they pick the most serious issues affecting women and compare them to what sounds like the least severe issues affecting men, because otherwise, if they actually chose issues of parity, they'd be forced to admit that both genders have at least equally as legitimate and damaging issues as each other, and they fear it might actually take the spotlight away from women for a while in the process of addressing men's issues for once.

The reason why men are told “it’s not okay to cry” is due to experience.

Many men have cried in front of their girlfriends/wives and they were shamed for it. They got accused of “emotional labor” for having the gall of sharing their emotions with their loved ones.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
