I can't help but wonder where does this idea of the male ego comes from? Amongst people I know, women are often the most self-centered, narcissistic. They're the ones that think they are better than everyone else and deserve better than anyone else. Karens wouldn't be Karens if they didn't have a ginormous ego for example.

The 80/20 statistics in dating also reflects that imho.
