I was recently suspended for criticizing feminists on Reddit but this is okay.

Reddit is a hate site.

Feminism: for when you hate men more than you hate totalitarianism.

Like seriously, just think about this for a moment. These women are advocating for a totalitarian policy that would control when people are allowed to go outside. Such a government would be 10 times the threat to their liberty than any man could ever be.

Oh, and they also mention needing male escorts...what is this, Handmaid's Tale? Do they not see how they are playing into the hands of the real enemies of women, aka conservative misogynists? Its kind of hilarious in a way. Imagine what other sorts of regressive policies one could pitch these women under the guise of "fighting patriarchy". How long until feminists are so radicalized that they are screaming about patriarchy while wearing Burkas?

Feminism: for when you hate men more than you hate totalitarianism.

LOL

Thanks for that. I needed it.

Oh, and they also mention needing male escorts.

Men are twice as likely to be attacked by strangers so they're really just inviting more danger this way.

They should just walk with other woman since every woman they walk with halves their chance of being attacked. It's like Zeno's arrow.

That's how statistics work right?

I honestly wonder if misandrist women like this are genuinely being harassed or if they're catastrophizing their interactions with men. Like, perhaps some man tried to strike up a conversation with them but they simply weren't in the mood to speak to anybody or perhaps they have severe anxiety when they're in public.

They are absolutely making up a victim persona for themselves.

People make up versions of themselves online all the time. Why is it so unbelievable that someone make up a victim persona? Particularly when victimhood carries such a high social currency.

Plus it's all such a passive self-compliment and ego boost. "I'm so hot that when I go outside I get constantly harassed."

When there's that much incentive to lie, I have to be skeptical.

Feminism: women are super powerful girl bosses equal to men

Also Feminism: men are scary

Exactly. It's a unique dynamic too, never before seen in human history, where a group of people are seen as utterly craven and contemptuous while at the same time all-powerful enough to create misery for a sizeable portion of the population.

Completely unique.

It's unfortunate because with the exception in specific circumstances, harassment cannot really be proven. A woman could say "I went to the store today and got catcalled by an old dude" and there's nothing to confirm or disprove that story.

I'm not saying that women never get harassed by toxic men and that all women are simply lying, not at all. There are a lot of genuine cases. However, the fact is that these kinds of stories are extremely easily to fabricate because there's no witnesses who saw the alleged harassment take place or really any proof that the event even occurred at all. It's not even a "he said, she said" situation because "he" might not exist.

And when you add in the fact that victimhood gives a person social currency, it gives toxic women incentive to lie about these things.

It's unfortunate

Agreed. I'd prefer to have hard data than be forced to apply skepticism after considering the incentives for people to lie about these interactions.

There are a lot of genuine cases.

I unfortunately did keep the sources but I remember someone comparing the rate of catcalls between NY (the city in which that infamous 'catcall' video took place) and Minnesota, or something.

There was a VAST enough differences to suggest that this is a problem with the city's culture, not men.

But yes, there are obviously genuine cases but the only ones we hear about are when women are the victims.

I've been flashed by women at clubs. When men do it, women are "victims". When women do it, men are "lucky".

At a packed outdoor concert, a woman sitting on the shoulders of a guy who was standing a good 20 ft away shouted at me to whip out my dick. When I refused, she laughed and mocked me for having a small dick because I didn't want to show it.

I had my ass felt up at a club by an older woman.

My male co-worker had his dick groped by another female co-worker under the table at a work dinner.

So maybe someone would disbelieve that....It's hard to know.

Slightly off-topic, but it does show that unbelievable stories happen...

I was renting a basement apartment during college when the two Swedish college exchange students who were staying up stairs knocked on my door with a six-pack of beer and asked if they could come in.

I suffered from so much social anxiety - and an incredibly messy space - at the time that I asked them to wait, panicked, closing the door and casting about for what I could do to clean the room to make it presentable enough for the sex that was quite clearly being offered....

...and gave up, figuring this social situation was too much for me to navigate. I opened the door, thanked them, took two of the beers to be polite (I didn't even drink at the time), then closed the door.

Nobody ever believes this but yeah it happened.

Funny thing is, they will consider the same thing done by a man or a woman as different. And it's not because of some sexual difference because men also percieve women doing some things to them as ok but not mem, it's just because society has just brainwashed us, not just women that men are pests.

But NAFALT, folks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
