Last i checked, the beauty industry fills up the pockets of women as well. Just take Kylie Jenner for instance. Feminsits really need to stop blaming men for everything.

That said, the beauty industry doesnt exist to lower womens self esteem.. it exists primarily to make money. The beauty industry also doesnt demand anything, it simply suggests that women should change their appearance, to look prettier or whatever, but in reality its so that they can make money. However changing your appearance is optional and not something anyone has to do, its not demanded.

Also, the beauty industry isnt there to make women look prebuescent. Thats absurd. It exists cause women wanna look pretty, and the beauty industry can make money off of that. Women dont shave to look like children, they shave cause it looks nicer, just like men shave the beards on their faces cause it looks nicer than looking messy and unkept. I also do enjoy the smooth skin after shaving cause I find it more aesthetically pleasing.

This has nothing at all to do with pedophilia culture, but everything to do about women wanting to look and feel good. Men shave too, not cause of pedophilia culture, but because they want to look and feel nice. Nothing wrong with that. Whats wrong, is trying to twist everything into being perverted and sick when its not, or doesnt have to be.

That's so stupid that I feel stupid for responding, but anyway - I worked in the beauty industry, the management was mostly women, by a large margin.

If she thinks your typical heterosexual male is attracted to prepubescent features, then she obviously doesn't understand male sexuality. At all. So she probably shouldn't opine on the subject.

Not to be crude, but "tits and ass" are far and away the main physical features on women that turn on most straight guys. And by "ass" it is of course implicitly understood to mean a postpubertal, womanly-shaped ass. Shit, there have to be at least twenty different subreddits specifically just for boobies in different sizes, positions, and states of motion, and I don't even care who knows that I know that.

"B-b-but muh removal of body hair tho!" Yeah, testosterone increases body hair, so hairiness is associated with masculinity. Women figured out that they can accentuate their own femininity by removing body hair, because that distances themselves from culturally and biologically ingrained conceptions masculinity. Men aren't imposing that beauty standard; women are competing against other women in the dating pool, just as men are competing against other men.

I feel like all of this stuff used to be painfully obvious before so many ideologues came along and muddied the waters.

As for makeup, that's also pretty simple. Rosy lips and cheeks and smooth skin and bright eyes are all subtle indicators of health and youth and therefore (usually) fertility. You can make those indicators a lot less subtle by just painting them onto your face.

I mean, I get it, the performative aspects of attracting a mate suck for everyone. Men typically have to signal wealth, status, and providership through conspicuous consumption, including paying for all the dates, and by definition that shit ain't cheap. Women typically have to signal health and youthful fertility (which, again, is a postpubertal feature). Blame evolution. To whatever extent culture is responsible, it's just exacerbating what evolution created.

Expecting a woman not to look like a neanderthal is not "pedophilia culture", but since we're on that "demand that blah blah change how they look for the opposite gender", there's women chastising men for height and dick size, chastising men over our incomes, there's expectations that women have about how and what men should live their daily lives like, and they're completely ignoring that. In modern day, I'm finding more and more men that just want to be alone. That means an ever decreasing percentage of men who even have an expectation about how a woman should look. Women however, will never ever ever change their perceptions about how men should look or behave.

Hypocrisy.
