A lot of men in redpill seem to have Mommy issues moreso than Daddy issues. And they'll say they hate their mothers. As I said in reply to a previous comment, those of us without Mommy issues/lesser Mommy issues may ask why the redpillers are so fundamentalist and then get muted. We may only have daddy issues but not Mommy issues, etc.

I've also found that masculinity isnt the cure for attracting women. Or at least, the concept itself isn't necessarily useful. Social interactions are games basically, and I've found that the path to getting better at them isn't "masculinity" per se but lots of various specific ways of dissecting conversational music and reframing conversational context. I act more feminine than I did a year ago in many ways and I'm more successful in my social life.

I have amazing parents. They’ve been married 31 years now. I fell to the red pill due to a toxic relationship.

That being said I was never a misogynistic asshole, even when red pilled. I couldn’t agree with all of the hate, but I did fall for hypergamy, alpha male, monkey branching, and all of that other stuff.

I think the majority of men on there are bitter and heartbroken, and haven’t healed from their toxic relationship.

The only one I know has a mom who was too sick to be a real mom to him. Not saying it justifies his approach but he had no real family to grow up too and maybe he craved a real family. He has 2 daughters now and I asked him to be mindful of what kind of world he creates for them to step into. I know he doesn't want his kids to be treated like red pill women. Funny how they want better for their daughters than the rest of humanity.

Actually, incels and TRP users have daddy AND mommy issues.

They resent women for being super picky and selective about looks (tall men, hot guys, etc). At the SAME TIME, they themselves demand that thin, young, attractive women with no standards find them viscerally attractive.

The fact that they bitch, whine, and complain about women's selectiveness/pickiness when it comes to appearances reflects the fact that they WISH their mother would've rejected their short, bald, ugly, inadequate father for a more attractive man. They would have at least been more likely to be born tall, handsome, and sexy enough to attract women viscerally instead of being born the bald, ugly, short fucks that they are.

On the one hand, they resent women for choosing handsome men to have sex with, and on the other hand, they resent being born short/ugly or bald. So they hate their fathers for not giving them better genes, and they hate their mothers for not choosing a hotter man to breed with. Then they HATE picky/selective women for refusing to have sex with ugly/bald/short men.... and for choosing to be with tall/hot/sexy men with hair.

It's a unique self-hatred situation. They wish they were born with the "sexy son" genes, but they also hate that modern women are doing everything they can to match with "sexy sons" and avoid having "ugly sons" like them.

I think red pilled men have mother issues in some form so they revert to “the abundance mindset” of sex conquering to realize a form of control that was not possessed before. MGTOW does not even care anymore. They are one shitty event away from becoming nihilist. I’m 21 and I see through all of that PUA shit. I grew up in the hood so being a narcissistic misogynist would likely get you robbed by the wrong type of girl or killed by someone much more “alpha” then you.

The problem is that most of the men that subscribe to that movement aren’t savages. The girls they refer to on videos and here like “savages.” They like men who do what they want and not necessarily wealthy men with options. Like I said, the girls they REFER TO are like this. I’ve seen girls cheat on prominent guys who had professional futures ahead of them for drug dealers.

There is a lot of truth in this. I can at least give an anecdote as I do not know how much of this is backed by research.

I had an abusive mother and I experienced a lot of "misdirected anger" towards myself and everyone else. I projected a lot of my anger on to women and fell into the "red pill" mentality for a few years. Once I got more experience and developed more relationships after college, my view changed. As I had a lot of female friends and coworkers who were nothing like what the red pillers defined them as.

I went to therapy over the last year with a good therapist I trusted. It gave me a clear picture of who my mom really was. An angry abusive narcissist who exploits her children for money. But because of the maternal respect I was supposed to have, I felt like I was the problem instead of her. After I finally stood up to her and cut her out of my life, my mental health improved dramatically.

Projected anger does nothing but hinder your ability to form new relationships with people who actually care about you. I struggle with it still, but I am glad I am aware of this now.

Not saying thats never the case, but Rp men more commonly share a theme of fatherhood issues.

Either a lack of a father figure, or an aloof one who is not very present is pretty common.

Most of them have great mothers, and they, despite their thoughts on women, absolutely cherish their moms.

But no matter how good the mom - a mother is NOT a father. Without the counter balancing perspectives of a male role model, moms will only impart views and life philosophies that are attuned for the feminine - hence why many rp men start off as effeminate and struggle with their masculinity - rp is the masculine education their fathers never taught them.

FDS is more the one with mommy issues.

Admittedly I kinda do. My mom had complete dominion over our household and my dad pretty much was stripped of any respect which trickled down to us looking at him differently. He did play his own part in losing the family’s respect but I saw how it caused cheating while he was loyal and pretty much he was depressed and became an underachiever and alcoholic. I kinda resent him for not trying and self improving.

I think in some situations, they do have mother issues. However, I think a majority of them have been emotionally burned by romantic partners and interests countless times. Between failed relationships, and rejection entirely, it starts to wear them down and make them resentful of women.

Father issues for women isn't just a myth they use to degrade women, a lot of women are very open about their father issues and generally speaking, these types fail at relationships in the long term because they didn't have a stable father figure growing up. It can work the same way with men that have mother issues, but i imagine the majority of it is because they keep failing with women. It can really burn a guys ego when he is told that he's great and all, but she's just not ready for a relationship...only to find out a week later she has a new boyfriend.

It's resentment and anger. They all laugh at beta males, but almost everyone in the community is a beta male, attempting to learn how to attract women, and some of them actually learn and have success once they identify their own insecurities and work on it. But then you have also have thousands who simply can't make progress and instead of self improvement, they resort to degrading women out of frustration for their own short comings.

This is from my personal perspective and learnings along the way:
It's a corner stone of Inner Work to address Male/Mother Need.
There are some men who have tried to advocate for the death of Male/Mother Need.
Much less the relationship with the Divine Child. (Or his death)
When a man has a poor/failed relationship with his mother, there is a good chance that his Divine Child is lost in the Shadowlands of the mind.
From there the next woman who comes along is chosen to rescue the Divine Child from the Shadowlands.
And when she does not? She echoes the trauma of his abandonment to the Shadowlands.
This is a creation of Magical Thinking and issues with Scapegoating.
A man who wishes to find himself must journey into the Shadowlands of his own accord, and face the traumas which exiled him to the Shadowlands in the first place. There he will find the Divine Child and be able to rescue him.
However having been exiled once to the Shadowlands, the man must be on guard for the Divine Child and his new found affinity for running away back to his refuge in the Shadowlands.
From there the trauma is a lifelong struggle as the belief became truth, baked in, and scarred over. Each time returning, in various degrees of self loathing for having "failed again" (Now the man gets to address this as well), to the Shadowlands to ask himself to "come home."

One seeks the desire for comfort, for happiness, for Male/Mother need, and when none of those needs can be met? It falls upon the man, alone, to provide and care. And without an understanding of how to get out to the Shadowlands, get the kid, and get back? He may never actually do it.

Thus he will never face the presuppositions that his cultural expectation of being loved by his mother, much less the moral imperatives of her approval, have changed him. He will never know true reason or understanding of the original wound, taken perhaps even before he understood he was wounded, and the pain of a lifetime of existence without reprieve.

And then you can find him on YouTube or Bitchute, possibly with a sex doll, telling other men ways they can manage or mitigate the pain of their existence without having to look at the deepest possible root causes.

I've had an enmeshed relationship with my mother, which I've only recently started to analyze into further detail. The short of it: she's a narcissist, and my stepfather is a weak man, who also cheated on her throughout the years. I've always been a "nice guy" and have had difficulties setting boundaries and saying no to the point where I sometimes don't even know if my emotions are mine or other people's. I fear I might be a narcissist myself, feel smothered very easily, don't have many significant real life relationships, have difficulty feeling like a part of groups, and only really feel at home with people who are similar to me. I don't know if I'm able to really love like other people do. Been trying to separate myself from mom. All my life is defined by trying to be the opposite of her, subconsciously, and now consciously, which prevents me from doing things she does that would actually make me feel good, like meditating. I just don't know who I am at all.
