I'd say dating does indeed get easier for men as they age.

I'd say however that the effect of this is vastly overstated by red pill, most guys i know who were unattractive when they were young did not got all THAT much successful when they aged, including myself. They look at age as some sort of magic bullet but it's all wishful thinking.

Not really.

As people get older they're wants and values might change. People become more likely to want to settle down and have a much clearer idea of what they do or don't want in a relationship.

Older men aren't suddenly more desirable or more 'valuable', they just know what they want more and so can find the people they are most likely to actually succeed with. Same with women around that age, they have a clearer idea of what they want so it's easier to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Men who have their life more together know what they want. Women who have their life more together know what they want. Both are more forthright with what they want, so find people with matching ideals more easily. It has nothing to do with there being some sort of magical change that happens with age, it's just the effect of being more mature.

No. Attractiveness for men peaks in mid to late 20s. At this point is when men are physically most desirable to women. Contrary to the redpill a young 20 something woman isn't actively looking for a 40 year old man.

The ones that do are usually gold diggers.

I think both men and women can have some of their best dating years late 20+. We grow into ourselves/know ourselves more and what we want.

Really how may here late teens early 20's Really knew themself/what they truly wanted out of life? We were geeks, dweebs, insecure, immature, etc, etc at that age.

Its depending. Most men when they age... don't look very good. They start balding, gaining weight, getting beer bellies. Despite what redpill tells you, men have a wall too. Theirs is just later than womens. Their fertility drops when their 40. So they start to look less masculine. But money definitely helps. So yeah, dating becomes easier, but for some men it can be worse.

So its depending if you have good genes and take care of yourself. If you are a 40 year old man who wants kids, you better start having children now, or else the chances of having a kid with down syndrome increases.

None of that might matter as long as you have money.

If they invest their time in themselves and don't just stagnate? Maybe.

Those things they whine about take work and personal growth, but they don't want to do that work - they just want to reap the rewards.

It can. I’m 30 now and am doing much better, not just with women but life in general. And I’m not talking about having tons of promiscuous sex with loads of women like some American Pie teen comedy fantasy. I’m talking about just being able to maturely interact with women without objectifying them or putting them on a pedestal or something. I became an adult. However this didn’t come just with time, this took a lot of self-reflection and a willingness to face my flaws and change them. Some men never grow up. I know tons of 30+ even 40+ guys whose emotional maturity stopped somewhere in their early to mid 20’s. It’s unbearable to be around them. Look into feminist and women subreddits to get some insight on the other side. I learned a lot from women there and it helped me grow and understand how awful I was in my teens and 20’s.

So for relationships what is valuable in a man?

Your value is based on what women want in a mate.

For a long term partner women are interested in emotional maturity. Although it is not usually expressed this way.

For a man to be valuable to a woman, he must first value himself.

So what is implied with an increase in age is completing the journey of emotional maturity as follows:

Recognition of Self (Self-aware, Self-regulation, Motivation) and Recognition of Others (Empathy, Social Skills).

Also, mature men understand that they are responsible for their own happiness and basic needs (income). They do not need a partner to complete themselves. They are content alone.

When you acquire the above, you are much more valuable to yourself and by extension any potential partner. This is true in general and not driven by RP ideology.

RP in my experience is focusing on earning power to support relationships. Which is important but only if you are emotionally mature enough to understand what relationships are.

I think the average age for a man to complete the journey of self discovery is 33 years. However, this assumes a mentally healthy adult male with no lingering psychological disorders, which would have to be address first. So some men will never complete the journey of self-discovery and, as such, are not able to maintain a healthy relationship.

In all fairness to men. Women are on a similar journey, however, I am a man, so I know more about men's journey.

Maybe a woman would like to comment on her journey of self discovery and at what age she became self-aware?
