RP is based (among other things) in fear of abandonment and fear of irrelevance.

If your wife needs you as much as a dog needs their owner, then both risks have been minimised. A dog won't hurt you, basically. Because you own it, and you own the entire supply chain as far as its concerned.

Personally, I view it as a projection of their own childhood trauma on the world. They want others to be as helpless as they felt. And I even doubt that it's conscious for them. They don't strike me particularly reflective.

I wouldn't even say strong women. Just normal is fine. But they can't have normal, because they've settled on not being normal. And not in a good way.

My ex was intimidated by me being physically strong. I’m 5ft tall and he was 6’ 5. He would whine and complain that I got up at 4:30 am in winter, came home from working on a farm at around 8-9pm then did coursework until 1-2 am 7 to 9 days in a row before my day off because I wouldn’t have time to do all the cooking and cleaning even though I did his laundry, paid for my own food and paid him$400 a month just to stay there 2-3 nights a week.

I had to take a suitcase on my commute to work most days and also stop off at my dads to check in on my teenage brother who I was basically raising at the time. Then when he made me quite my job to move 200 miles away so he could live across the street from his mother, he threw me out because I didn’t have a new job 6 weeks after arriving in the middle of nowhere because she said I was ‘damaged goods’.

He also complained my arms were too masculine, as I carried most of the furniture during moving for him… Then had the audacity to say I’m just lazy or a quitter because I felt after 15 + years of working like that. I was feeling unwell. Turns out I may have a rare connective tissues disorder.Didn’t like it when I was working all hours god sends or my masculine arms but as soon as I’m not working for 5 minutes I’m a fat lazy cow and get kicked out on the street. He would shit on me for needing to use a walking stick and not being able to keep up when he went shopping gift luxury items for himself due to my legs being in pain. First he insults my strength and then my weakness!

He looked like shit by the way! Lanky motherfucker with neckbeard and a huge beer gut from downing a 6 pack + a bottle of wine every night and just becoming nasty mean.

They want that because they want control and wanting/needing control comes from fear. I used to be that way. Wanting to control every little thing and in order to do that you need a weak woman. As soon as I got over my ego and fear no longer needed control i found strong women very attractive again.

I somehow do find strong women attractive, and gravitate towards them. Women who have their stuff together, are individualistic, different from society, make me attracted to them. Im not really traditional myself.

It's kind of hypocritical to want a traditional submissive housewife, if you are not traditional themselves.

Majority of these redpillers want complete control of women, because they don't see women as people, but "property".

TRP is anti intellectual.

By making your partner a little robot who has no fun thoughts of their own speaks volumes.

It says that your mental match is a person who has no thoughts or passion. It makes you a boring person who is not interested in growth for yourself or your partner's purpose on earth. It's very self centred and stagnant.

You won't really accomplish anything interesting or fun by conditioning your partner into mommy/maid.

It's important to consider that a lot of 'great men' had educated and passionate wives/girlfriends who shared a conspicuously similar passion and intellectual energy, and collaborated on projects. Charles Dickens' wife was another writer. Einstein's wife was his mathematician and physicist he met as a classmate.

Sure, a gf may start out loving the tradwife role, but if you check out the subs on relationships, modern women get tired of it fast, just as men are tiring of TRP.

Girls also realize that ,when they have no unique value, how truly replaceable they are. There is nothing less erotic than cleaning up after your boyfriend/husband on heavy rotation. Especially if he is apathetic to your thoughts and interests. Nah.

Demoting people close to you to machines? You'll end up very alone. If not physically, mentally and existentially, that's not a great life.

What you're describing is pretty clearly borne out in relationship research. When you get two people together who believe in traditional gender roles and try to act them out, they're happier than if they're forced to be with someone who doesn't match them, but their overall satisfaction with their relationships is still worse (for both men and women) than people who prefer a more equal balance of power, decision making, responsibility and so on.

It's not that any of this is easy to change for someone who's grown up a certain way or who has a lot of the more difficult aspects of living like this interacting with each other. At the same time, I think there's a lot of use in cutting through the bullshit like you're describing. I can tell you in my personal life I'm a hell of a lot happier with a partner who has her own stuff going on and sometimes brings me out for it than I would be dragging along passive deadweight who would resent me for it the whole time.
