Almost no one here talks about traditional gender roles. Not sure why you would think so. Most couples in my social circle have both partners having a job. This is normal in most countries I think

The public secret that everyone glosses over is that people are unique. Red pill, and other groups like it aren't be-all/end-all statistics. They're just statistics, which means there's always exceptions.

If you want to be an exception to traditional roles, then do it! It might not be as easy, but chase your dreams.

If you treat everything in life like a statistic--you'd recognize that it's not just genders, but the entire human race is pretty terrible in a lot of ways, lol. So don't look at the world through statistics.

Have a peaceful home, not to say we won’t have a bad day, or problems every relationship goes through things but to come home relax and spend quality time with him, and have freedom to do what ever we like is amazing!

I would never be able to sit at home and not work, I like making my own money and have goals. Besides most people make an average income, you need two people working sometimes depending on where you live.

Typically People date and marry within their circle, through career and friends. Some of the richest men in the world their wives are educated women, and have careers and they are also not twenty years old lol! Red pill guys will argue she married him when she was younger ok but it don’t change the fact they are educated. Lol

Do you know your tax laws?

Do you know if you make more money as a couple you pay more taxes?

Do you know the more you make the more they take unless you start a profitable side hustle get incorporated and possibly make money come tax time?

Are your spending and budgeting habits rock solid?

These are the things you should be looking into.

If you think you can simply earn and save money and retire and travel the world, as someone who works in a tax centre I can tell you you may want to rethink that idea.

You may also want to ask yourself the following.

Why are we not taught financial literacy and intelligence in school and why are we not taught taxes in school?

Why are the way we taught in school the worst way to learn according the best way to learn (cone of experience)?

Lastly who owns and funds all these organizations?

And if you think socialism or any form of government even potential new gov is going to provide and save you, you may want to look at the history of what the gov represents and what organizations they lied with in the past and present. I'm a guy with traditional values but in my opinion nowadays it's just too hard to juggle everything financially by yourself because inflation is at astronomical levels, housing prices are going up while salary remains the same, people losing jobs due to pandemic and if you add kids to the mix, ohhh my god. It also depends where you live geographically speaking.

My point is that you simply need someone to share the above financial responsibilities with if you want to have a family and kids or just remain single with enough money to support yourself. It's not 50's or 60's where a guy had to support everyone because times are changing and some women start to outearn some men.

When it comes to your situation tho, if you both have a decent salary, manage finances responsibly and don't want kids, I think you will be just fine.

Just reading some of these responses and you can see that some responses are from hardcore Red pillers that are still convinced that marriage is a financial transaction and that the only thing women want from men is their money.

Some responses are still talking about taxes, legal costs, divorce, alimony and all the problems that happen if you get divorced.

You're in the ex-redpillers sub, it's time to detox and understand that marriage isn't some sort of financial transaction. You've got a long way to go if you still can't talk about love, support, shared goals, partnership, building memories together and all the benefits of being in a long term relationship or marriage.

Marriage is a partnership for two individuals with their own individual personalities. Plus marriage isn't compulsory. Some men and women are okay to remain partners without marriage, especially if they aren't planning to have kids.

Red pill wants you to believe that marriage is only good if you can control the woman, keep her unemployed and have a solid pre-nup in place.

Ask yourself why you're so keen for your future ex-wife to be unemployed and penniless after you divorce her? It sounds to be like you want to punish her while she's married to you and punish her again if she ever leaves you. Either way, sounds evil.

Ask yourself why you can't be with someone who loves you for you. Why are you so desperate to be with someone who only loves you for your money? Could it be that you don't believe that you are good enough? If that's the case please seek therapy and get some help.

You deserve real love, not transactional love. What red pill is offering is a formula for fake relationships and terrible marriages. I hope you can genuinely start your detox process and let go of these false ideas from red pill.

There is no rule book for life and if there is, it certainly isn't the red pill.
