But the burden of birth control would still be on women!

They would greenlight Vaselgel (already developed but not approved). It's like a temporary vasectomy.

Abortions would be free and legal everywhere, probably done in a drive-by

I tend to disagree, I think if men could get pregnant, they would outlaw abortion and become INCREDIBLY sexually inhibited. They don’t give up power for anything, and birthing a child is pretty fucking powerful.

Not to mention 100% pain free child birth would be mandatory.

My mother has been cracking this joke forever.

And 100% pain free childbirth would be mandatory

This is why I am childfree and intend to remain that way. Men bounce as soon as their women get pregnant and even the ones who stick around become porn addicts and don’t respect the mother. Fuck that noise.

Thing is, we are separated into categories based on our reproductive ability. So this is a moot point. Men are men because they cannot give birth.

There is nothing wrong with vaginal ("natural") childbirth. It doesn't ruin your vagina. Your body recovers much faster from it in most cases then an unnecessary c section.

You’re saying men are better at inventing solutions when you say stretch marks would be cured if it was a male problem. Also, men get SM but for different originating causes that lead to the same thing (tearing of dermis).

She's saying more research would go into solving the problems if it was male centric. Which is true, female centric problems receive less funding and attention (female sexual dysfunction, endometriosis, PMDD, urinary incontinence, etc). But oh boy does Viagra and it's competitors receive a lot of attention and funding!

Meh I think it isn’t a good example. Whoever invents a way to stimulate remodeling of the dermis to the extent it gets rid of stretch marks will be a very rich person. They would have invented it for that reason. I get the premise & agree in other cases, so this is more of a tangent point.
