I’m also Romanian and got to live in the US for a while when I was 20-21. Men are always fetishizing and being creepy towards Eastern European women as to them we are nice & approachable ( I believe they see us as weak ). Once you start to ignore the advances you’re either a Russian wh*re or a gold digger. As a EE girl, can totally confirm. My country is neighboring to Romania, but we have it worse (socially and economically). The most well - known saying about family life here is "the woman who is not beaten (by her husband) is like an uncleaned house". Completely atrocious 🤦‍♀️

Men who go to other, poorer countries to find wives are really just trying to buy a slave. Eastern European women are trafficked into brothels in western European countries. Prostitution is rape and slavery.

I don’t deny anything this post mentioned. But on a slightly more upbeat tone, pick-up artists are straight up delusional when it comes to EE women. These losers will visit the major cities (where women have better access to education, healthcare, better jobs and support networks) and try to pick them up basing their strategy on a fetishized view of the perfect submissive woman. They know it doesn’t work, we know it doesn’t work, but the chum living in his mom’s basement paying $59.99 for a course on how to talk to women doesn’t. The whole appeal of foreign men (at least in my country) is that they have money. They’re not relationship material bc of the cultural differences, the fact that it’s not guaranteed that they’ll stay in your country long term and also the fact that some of them don’t even see us as real people, but walking, talking porn tropes. Women will be around them for as long as they can buy them drinks at the bar or treat them to dinner and then bounce once the funds run out. While it’s not ideal, gender norms are much more strict here. Even the modern, high earning, college educated women will expect their partner to be a provider.

The interesting thing about these eastern cultures is that these women tend to be more aware that men want a transaction from them, so they tend to demand a lot in return. I’m Korean and while many eastern women are seen as desirable or “submissive” (for some reason???) these women are open about wanting a rich man and expect their men to take care of everything. Don’t make six figures? No job prospects? — you’re barking up the wrong tree. Western men get shocked when anything is ever asked in return for the value they find in eastern women.

As an EE woman I can confirm that this is true. Most EE men are of low value even when they migrate and grow up in the west. EE women are treated as sub human back home. My family act as if I’m with some alien when I casually mention that my male partner does the majority of cleaning. Or how my partner buys me flowers and prepares candle lit baths for me. Just small things like that are seen as the most extreme to them.

Can confirm - am Ukrainian, moved to the Western country recently. Dating in EE is a nightmare incarnate and EE men are trash in 99.9% of cases. The "better" ones would keep a facade of civility only to turn on a woman as soon as they consider her "secured". I've heard multiple stories of Ukrainian men who moved back home from Europe because they can't handle European women and couldn't find a wife there (speaks volumes of those men).

That's why I never actually dated back home: yes, more often than not men will pay for everything on a date, but they will 100% expect you to put out afterwards and get angry and violent if you don't. Therefore EE radical feminism is even way more ruthless than FDS and heavily recommends not to date or otherwise romantically engage with men at all, since even one date going wrong can easily become lethal - so common and downplayed violence against women is.

As an Eastern European woman now living in Western Europe I can definitely confirm that. Once they hear the accent it always bring hightened interest and I have always hated it.

I can also certainly understand why this stereotype that EE women are good wives and good slaves has happened. In my whole life I have only seen less than a handful of healthy marriages that aren't with a man who is a drunk, violent, or otherwise dysfunctional. Women are programmed to be submissive and put the jackass on a pedestal while suffering herself. It's really a vicious cycle. We've spent generations being groomed for it and I'm not surprised why being a man's doormat doesn't seem like such a big deal to a young girl.

I used to lurk "manosphere" blogs from time to time years ago as I had a feeling this stuff was about to come mainstream and wanted to learn more about it (the info has been useful in guarding against it as it has become mainstream).

Some of my family is from the Balkans/Asia Minor area originally and it made me sick to see some of the comments recommending that guys who cannot afford to travel overseas visit their local Orthodox church to look for young women to scam with their PUA techniques. Ultimately the joke is on them because most of the women in my community are highly educated including as medical doctors or Ph.D.s in the hard sciences. Hardly the submissive, dependent women they fetishize on their blogs.

I understand the rant about the LVM fetishizing EEs and South Asians, but generalizing all the Eastern Europe, which is a region made of countries of different cultures and economic advancement, is not right. Also, USA's all-inclusive, libfem culture is not all nice and fluffy and not necessarily beneficial to women. For example, I was pursued by a Ukrainian guy once and I liked his classical old school courting me, with flowers and dates and stuff. Never had it with a Western man, except my SO.

Basically, I don't agree whenever I face a false dichotomy.
