How can I get my friend to see her BF as a LVM and kickhimout2020

He is genuinely a nice guy, but is an absolutely crappy BF, and doesn't communicate with her. He also constantly ditches her for his friends, and does not provide any emotional support AT ALL.

She is trying so hard to build her life and grow into the best version of herself, but doesn't have any extra energy to do so because she is having to do all the emotional and mental work in the relationship. She's been on the edge of leaving him for ~9 months, but never seems to get close. How can I help her get there?

Ask her what advice she would give you if the roles were reversed. Perhaps that will give her some perspective.

Maybe you can suggest her to read "how to break your addiction to a person" it explains why people stay even when they are unhappy. At least I found it eye opening and helpful, so maybe she will too.

Many women don't want to leave because they lowkey refuse to admit that they wasted years, so it's hard to let go when you gained nothing worth it.
