I personally found this really disrespectful. Even before she started the simulator he began saying FFS and stfu multiple times. She laughs it off in an exaggerated way and says later in the comments that it’s “all in good fun” and other commenters call anyone who says it’s disrespectful “too sensitive.” To me it’s never “just a joke” and it sounds like he doesn’t have a problem disrespecting her. He even says “that’s what it feels like? No wonder you’re such a dick” like wtf...I have a feeling he’s the dick in the relationship.

What do y’all think? Would a HVM marital or dating partner ever do this or would he be expressing sympathy for the fraction of the pain he’s experiencing which only represents a small percentage of the pain she goes through every month? I just don’t see it as HVM behavior at all. Who talks like this? Usually if it’s a jokey relationship you would see both partners talking shit to one another I suppose but she just sits there laughing it off hysterically and it makes me so uncomfortable because it reminds me of how women are desensitized to verbal abuse and taught to laugh it off. How do we raise a society of women who don’t tolerate this disrespect when we teach women it’s “just a joke” “have a sense of humor” and “you’re too sensitive, I am fluent in sarcasm”?

'That was way more unpleasant then I thought it would be...No wonder you're such a dick'...He really thought every woman who gets bad cramps was just being dramatic. This is a man who really doesn't take women seriously. These simulators need to be in every sex ed class everywhere so boys don't grow up to be like this guy.

I’m really sick of seeing women gaslight themselves and refer to themselves as ‘annoying’ or imply that their husbands/bfs have to ‘deal with their crazy behaviour’... these men are awful and they just don’t care about you
