People are going to say she’s a pick me. But I’m here to give a different spin.

She was engaged to marry ARod and supposedly planning a wedding. She went on Oprah’s tour speaking about hes the only man to ever love her enough to want her to grow and be her biggest career wise, how they mesh family etc.

Then he was discovered to be cheating with the girl from Southern Charm. Facetiming her, liking and unliking her photos on IG, and sliding into other womens dms.

This was all publicly known and when they broke up the press was preparing to dig for even more info on the cause. What she did was brilliant. She threw the dog a bone before it dug up the whole house embarrassing her in the process. By being seen out with Affleck, she immediately and swiftly shifted the narrative from JLo- “Washed up, old, broken hearted and played by husband to be!” to “OMG. Bennifer is back???? Are they or aren’t they together again???”

Do you see what she did there? Now instead of washed up and hurt. Shes desirable and in demand, people have something nostalgic and fun to talk about in the middle of a pandemic when they’re bored as shit. Instead they’re now following them around for pics and digging up shots of them from the early 2000s to revel in the warm nostalgia of it all. Meanwhile sad sack ARod is still posting images of family pictures in a frame trying to win her back. LOL. One of the more brilliant image moves I’ve seen in a long time.

In one fell swoop, she single handedly shifted the narrative to make herself the main character and the desirable one again, the primary player instead of the victim.

We should all be this careless and forgetful of men who’ve wronged us. Moving on like we just don’t give a damn/ never cared at all.

She just broke off and engagement a few months ago. She needs a therapist, not another man.

I just feel sorry for Jennifer Garner. I know people will call her a pickme but she's one of the few celebs really liked- she seemed really down to earth, protected her kids from the paparazzi, never got into scandals. She was too good for Ben. I have absolutely no idea what he has that Jenifer Lopez thinks is worth being with a guy who treats a good woman like that.
