It's weird. When I was a kid, men were embarrassed about using porn. Then when I was about to graduate high school, porn became mainstream. Years passed. I'm teaching a class for young adults...someone innocently brings up Game of Thrones and how some people criticized the porny scenes and how the showrunners stopped doing it as much because of the criticism. This guy in my class blurted out, "How I'm expected to watch it (without the graphic scenes)?"

He was essentially bragging about being a porn addict. Like what? It proves your heterosexuality? Your virility?

Once upon a time, being obsessed with such things meant you were a loser who couldn't date, talk to women or socialize enough to consider women human.

Ugh. This reminds me of a time at work when this scrote came in wearing a pornhub shirt and some guys told me to come over and look. I could tell it was gonna be some dumb guy thing...I said isn’t he embarrassed? That’s revolting and they were all SO confused saying it’s ‘normal’. Wtf?! It’s not normal to WEAR PORN MERCH. The irony is we’re a ‘family restaurant’ so women wearing swimsuit tops can’t come in (even though we are by a river and it isn’t that unusual) but a man can wear a shirt advocating for porn. I mean of course it's trashy but in a way I welcome this the same way I welcome guys who wear the free polos that they get for attending a free seminar from Vanguard or Fidelity, or any guy really who wears a logo for a company that they do not personally own.
