Always a warning sign. The narcissist I dated before I realized my worth would say, "I'm a good person" and I only realized later that it was a huge red flag. People only say these things if they need to convince THEMSELVES as well as others that something is true. They are lying and they are not to be trusted.

Recently I interacted with a male specimen who constantly talked about himself. Approximately 90% of the time he was yammering about himself. He liked to say "I'm a fixer, I like to fix problems" and all this other shit. I allowed the interactions to continue as an experiment in following FDS guidelines.
He definitely love bombed me as much as he could. He told me he wanted to give me some kind of guardianship of his dog, and would say to his dog, "Go to your mommy." With me being the "mommy." He was obviously trying to get me to attach emotionally so he could hook me--a true narcissist.
The last time I saw him I gave one little test to make sure I was correct. I said "I'm having a lot of anxiety about moving next weekend and being able to afford rent" (I actually can afford rent easily). His response? "That sucks. Here, watch a video of me lifting weights."
2 days later he checked himself into a psyche ward (he does this 2-3 times a year as like, a spa retreat or some shit) and I haven't heard from him since 🙃
Here are his stats:
Age: 39
Location: lives with his parents
Job: janitor
Degree: none

Omg i just realized the last guy i interacted with did this. We were dating and having sex but he called it friends with benefits and i agreed cause i didnt wanna loose him and he seemd great good job good in bed smooth talker i fell for him . Anyways he starts telling me id be a great mother and he’d rub my belly and tell me he’d love me to have his baby and things like that . He also said he’d move to another country but he said didn’t because of me and in the end he still kept me as his friend with benefits so after 3 months of this shit i finally left . And always talked about himself telling me he achived everything by himself and told me how good he was in bed cause he had experience cause he did everything and then he used to say i had stolen his heart or shit like that and how did i stared at him in awe and not understood he was a narc idc it just hit me while reading your comment

Any man who must say I am the king, is no true king.

Men who are good in men don’t tell you that they’re good in bed or brag about their sex lives.

Men who say they’re confident are trying to convince you and themselves that they’re aren’t insecure and needy creatures
Avoid dating them, they will seek validation and ego feed from as many women as possible
