I've picked up a few things here and there. I'm sure you gals have too when it comes to tech-savviness. I was surprised that most of my friends do not know this with iPhones. When someone sends you a picture, save it to your album. Then, open the photo in the album, you will see the exact date and time it was taken. Sometimes, it'll show you the location but it depends on the phone model and settings. Unfortunately, this doesn't work with Android. Also, with iPhones, if the photo was saved somewhere else and then saved on the phone, it won't retain the photo's metadata.

I've caught many fuckboys who sent me dick pics or provocative pics to say 'thinking of you'. Loser, no. You took this pic 3 months ago. You're recycling this. How many times have you recycled it? Yuck.

What other techie tips that you've picked up to expose their lies?

Edit: Another tip - reverse Google image search:

-From OLD, if you see a photo that looks like it might be a headshot or a professional photo used for LinkedIn, take a screenshot of the photo. Save it to your phone. Then, open your browser, depends on your preference but probably Chrome or Safari. Go to images.google.com, click the camera icon, upload an image from your phone.

-From a URL on desktop, Go to images.google.com, click the camera icon, and paste in the URL for an image you've seen online.

-From an image saved on your desktop, Go to images.google.com, click the camera icon, and upload an image from your hard drive, or drag an image from another window.

-From a website, right-click on the photo and choose Search Google for Image.

Remember, men don't take that many photos. They typically have a hard time finding good pictures for most of their online profiles whether professional or personal. Therefore, they'll use the SAME photos mostly everywhere. Do your homework before meeting or to getting to really know their online history.
