On top of stealing women's inventions or getting credit for them, men also completely and conveniently ignore the fact that even when it comes to men's inventions, the only reason they were able to make them in the first place is because of women supporting them and their family and household while they were "inventing"!

Or the fact that women, for the biggest part in history and even today in many parts of the world, were not even able to get an education, vote or even leave the house or the room unchaperoned. How is someone not even afforded basic human rights, dignity and respect be supposed to "invent" and "build" and "create"?

Yet, you'll hear them comparing men's and women's achievements, intelligence, logic, abilities etc. constantly and using fallacies, myths, constructs, anecdotal personal opinion or experience etc. to support their narrative and even go as far as engage in humblebragging and circlejerking! The entitlement and lack of introspection and basic historical knowledge are socking! Even educated men behave like that and support such claims! 🤯🤯🤯

Edit: to add this as evidence of the above delusional and irrational thinking, as exhibited by Those-Who-Won't-Go-Their-Own-Way...So glad to finally learn who invented high heels by the way! It was a major existential concern of mine! Problem solved! The world is safe now! 👏👏👏

I remember in college two years ago I was in lab with three other guys. I always worked quickly and efficiently to make sure we're out of there as soon as possible because no one wants to do a three hour lab. One of the other guys does all the calculations, but the other two? They chat nonstop and do utterly nothing every single week.

At the end of the semester I couldn't handle it anymore when they strayed away to a DIFFERENT LAB GROUP to talk to them. And when I put it through it their heads that they need to step up and do something, I found out that they had the impression that they genuinely were working hard and doing their fair share. Of the lab work. That I did completely on my own. Of course they didn't claim credit for the calculations, no, the one other guy gets credit for the work he does, but I don't get credit for the work I do.

Most men are oblivious to the work women do.

It goes to show that a difference between LVM and HVM is the HVM will recognize your efforts and not only acknowledge them but strive to be as hard-working as you. They will be supportive, and not because you ask for them to be supportive, but because they want to support you, and they care about you and what you do with your time and energy. Not just in relationships, but friendships and at work too. They'll visibly see you as an equal and your work as valid. And they'll be self-aware to how they are received in situations.
