To the women who come here to see how "toxic" we are and marvel at how right the men on Reddit are when they say women are just straight up craaaaazy 🙃

Okay. Here is some objectively non toxic advice:

Just: make sure you have your own money.Enough savings to put a deposit on an apartment, a few months rent, a down payment on a car. And good credit. Start taking steps to build your credit today if you haven't already.

Don't burn bridges with people. especially other women. If your friends and family hate your boyfriend/husband or don't mesh with him (no matter how unjustified their disapproval seems) put in the work to maintain relationships with them.

Stay healthy. Prioritize your own health. If you're making his appointments and making meal plans and cooking for him, do it for yourself. If he tells you he doesn't mind that you gained/lost weight don't let that be the most important factor in your health. Are YOU happy with your weight gain/loss? That's what matters. Stay fit and healthy.

Buy the things you want and need. Don't sacrifice your wants so that you can "build together". Building together is what you can do with your extra money AFTER you have what YOU want for yourself.

Don't lose interest in your own hobbies and passions. No matter how busy you are with your man, make time for yourself. Don't let his hobbies become yours by default. Make time for your own.

Women don't really heed warnings (myself included) when we're in love. You can be blindsided.

Have your own money. Maintain connections with people. Stay healthy. Keep up your hobbies.
