This person is deeply confused. Radical feminism is not new and it’s what gets banned and ridiculed, while it’s “modern” third-wave liberal feminism that is more widely accepted and is what most male “feminists” are thinking of when they think of feminism at all.

If this guy is actually getting banned which I doubt, as most libfem spaces love and welcome men, it’s because he’s creeping on women so obviously that even the libfem mods are forced to take action.

I’ve seen loads of malebeards on Twitter saying they’re feminists because why wouldn’t they be? Feminism is about supporting the rights of everyone.

Er no, it’s in the name sunshine. Feminism is for biological women, not everyone.

They’re also the first to preach and police what womanhood is to women. The audacity...I remember o e guy telling a woman she should take a gender studies class, like he was doing, to better understand womanhood. She was like “I am a woman, so why the f*** would I need to take a class. You’re literally telling a woman you have more insight into womanhood than an actual woman because you took a stupid class”. He literally couldn’t see how ridiculous he looked.

I also saw this in my time as a PhD student in a male dominated field. The men who banged the drum of their feminist credentials in public were arch misogynists behind the scenes. One even went as far as to get a conference of feminist academic philosophers cancelled because it would "potentially upset and threaten" students because it consisted exclusively of women. Still, he's incessantly on social media promoting libfem works of philosophy to prove he's such a strong 'ally' to women.

MRAs only want to focus on ways that they think women have it better than them. They don’t ever want to seriously address the shit like toxic masculinity and the way men are raised, because they actually like it. Men are the ones who reinforce shit like “real men don’t cry” and “men are wired for sex like animals”. Very rarely do I come across an MRA that actually wants to address things like that in a positive, impactful way. Most of their “contributions” end at just wanting to derail women’s conversations by inserting men into them.

I know men who loudly proclaim they are feminists, on every medium they can, then proceed to treat women in their life like shit. I also know men who seemingly treat women well, and say they believe in equality, but treat feminism like a dirty word and only call them themselves “EqUaLiSts”.

Why are women’s values and rights so hard for men to understand? This is how ingrained the patriarchy is in our culture
