I just got banned from another sub because I told them there isn't something like 'both sides'. It is not 'both sides' when one of the sides gets murdered and the other at worst a slap on the wrists.

Awwww, did you huwt deir feewings..? For real though, it’s crazy how fast men turn on us the second they realize we aren’t completely pandering to them. Hopefully someone saw your comment and had a change of heart...?

It's because they're so used to being pandered to. Anything that isn't beneficial to the ruling class is oppression to them, even if it's just being treated normally.

One of the biggest problems in dealing with the privileged is the sheer amount of hoops and swings you have to go to coddle them and play a second mother to them so you dont huwt thweir fewlins. Its a completely anew social programmibg that some people may not be bound to get but are socially obliged to. And it must be terrifying for somebody inexperienced with them to treat them with their own self as a base-line of what counts as normal behaviour only to have them lost their shit.
Like a woman who hasn't been raised around them, for instance. She reads the news articles, reads the comments they make, learns history, and would naturally conclude "wow... men suck." But she isnt allowed to treat men that way because she'd be a femin### b#### if she does. She'll have to learn a completely new social language to avoid them ruining her. How would such a woman deal with that reality? How would she learn the right thing Big Brother wants her to say? I reckon it would be frightening for her.

Know the truth. Live the truth.
Expect someone to tell you "rape culture isn't real" that "domestic violence is just as bad for men" that "not all men yardage yadda" and have the numbers, links and statistics ready.
Cross reference your links, as well. Make sure they are accurate and up to date. People can debate with opinions but they can't make a case against cold hard facts. Feel free to unapologetically shove it in their face, they wanted to debate, afterall.
A woman needs to be strong to thrive in this world, which means she needs to KNOW what she stands for and why.
Expect the challenge and meet it.

“There are two sides to every story!” can be toxic. It implies that both parties can be at fault or made mistakes when much of the time, that’s not the case. If someone gets robbed at gunpoint, we don’t tell the victim that there are two sides to every story. 🤔 Miss me with that trope.

Men who even use the word "misandry" are often massive misogynists. Their worst fear is being considered creepy when they try to chat with random women or children in public. They cry "not all men" and "but men too" to discredit and silence us. Silencing women is all part of mysogyny. They don't care about equality at all, because it means loss of privileges for them.

Meanness =/= systemic oppression. I can be mean to a man but that man can just turn around and rape me. No man ever has to feel like he is only safe because women decide not to hurt him, but that's exactly how women feel about men. I don't speak to any man who cries misandry.
[–]breadandbunnyFDS Newbie39 points40 points41 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Exactly. I've debated with some annoying people before who fundamentally do not understand that meanness is not systematic oppression. Does it suck? Yeah, especially when you actively treat others well, but it is simply not oppression.
[–]sealcrabFDS Newbie29 points30 points31 points 3 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Most people I've met who are all 'misandry' or 'reverse racism' are people who don't take the idea of systemic oppression seriously in the first place. To them misogyny and other forms of discrimination are examples of individual bigotry rather than a wider problem.

No man ever has to feel like he is only safe because women decide not to hurt him, but that’s exactly how women feel about men.
I think this is literally the most crucial point. No wonder I’m so bitter and “paranoid” all the time. When you feel like you’re only okay because of someone else’s good graces, and yet constantly, over and over, day after day, you see the horrible moods they get in, the ground you stand on starts feeling really shaky. How can we trust men to not feel like hurting us today if every second we’re drowned under news of men being unbelievably cruel to women if they think they can get away with it?

Great post! The men who spend all their time talking about how "men built everything!" are always the ones who can't handle any criticism! Men are so fragile. Its so refreshing to find this subreddit where women can share information without the hordes of fragile men trying to shout them down! I like twitter but I'm so tired of all the hate.

Oh but haven’t you head the narrative now? In the short time women have been allowed into schools, we’ve rapidly outpaced and outperformed men, who are dropping out because of how “school is made for women and it’s too hard for men to get ahead” oh RIGHT but up until now women weren’t even allowed to read because only a man’s brain could comprehend it. See, when men hold us down, they feel good about themselves. As soon as they let up a bit and we do better at...everything...they realize how they ain’t shit and so the only way for them to exist happily in their shittiness is by oppressing us and pretending they’re better

And the same men like to complain how feminists started a war on men and before it both sexes were perfectly living at peace lmao. It's men who started this war. If they didn't control the shit out of women in the first place, there would be no reason for feminism to exist.

Men don’t build everything, they just take credit for it. So many times a man would take credit especially for his wife’s accomplishments. I just read a post the other day about how in the past female NASA researchers couldn’t even put their names on their work.

I’ll never understand why misogyny is not considered grounds for a hate crime. I mean I get why, cause of the patriarchy that build our world, but it will never make sense to me. It seems that every time misandry is brought up it’s just to discredit or play down misogyny, just like how most people only bring up male rape victims when we’re discussing sexual violence against women.

Western countries have much bigger problems than pretending they live in a video game, in a world where misogyny and misandry are just about the same. But it is the western way, to be indulgent and delusional.
Western countries are going to be like South Korea within a few years. The birth rate there is .98 kids per woman. This is well below population replacement level. Even if women there started popping out babies right now, their country will never 'recover'.
I'd guesstimate that this will happen in western countries, including the US, within 10 years MAX. Some people expected a baby boom during covid (I didn't), but of course the exact opposite happened-- a baby bust.
When the public health crisis first took hold, some people playfully speculated that there would be a spike in births in nine months, as people were “stuck home” with their romantic partners. Such speculation is based on persistent myths about birth spikes occurring nine months after blizzards or major electricity blackouts. As it turns out, those stories tend not to hold up to statistical examination (Udry, 1970). But the COVID-19 crisis is amounting to much more than a temporary stay-at-home order. It is leading to tremendous economic loss, uncertainty, and insecurity. That is why birth rates will tumble.

South Korean feminists are nothing like western liberal feminists either. They have a radfem movement with a motto of the "4B" or "Four Nos": no dating, no sex, no marriage, no childrearing. Of course, South Korean men are freaking out about it, but I don't think they have an incel/domestic terrorist/manosphere type of problem there.
We'll be like South Korea, but with a lot more violence, civil unrest, poverty, and possibly civil war (US). There will be less and less pickmes willing to let men experiment on them, treat them like toys, when they are concerned about being homeless and paying for groceries. I predict that more women will be celibate by choice, and more men will be celibate not by choice. And when people are having sex, I predict that abortion rates will skyrocket. There will be less "oopsy daisy!" births because people will be more concerned about their own survival. Women will just have abortions vs facing the possibility of being homeless and 8 months pregnant. I think sugar daddies/sugar babies, prostitution and OnlyFans will be more popular as well. Not because it is the woman's "choice", but because it is her only way to survive.
We live in a world controlled by men-- and this is the world we live in. And it's not going to get better, only worse. Economic and social problems will also increase male-on-female violence as well as male-on-male violence. The systematic violence against women will get worse, but remember-- nothing is more important than a crybaby man's feelings. Even if we live in Mad max, a man's tears will still be worth more than water.

Isn't this happening on some level in Japan as well? I do remember reading how young women there aren't getting married and having children as much as they used to, because frankly they give up too much and for so little. Birth rates are dropping, too, at least from what I remember reading, and it will have major ramifications in the future, like social crisis level consequences.
But can you blame women? Why would they give up independence and self-determination in exchange for a situation that offers so little? Marriage in a patriarchal world is too much of a crapshoot.
I really do wonder if this generation of men will die alone because no one will marry them. But maybe that's what it takes for things to change. Women will be fine because we take care of each other. A friend of mine works in hospice and says she sees so many men who die with no one but her at their bedside, and it's really chilling and sad.

Humanity evolved by a sexual arms-race. Women want men with better genes, men want to fuck every women they meet. Men employ a tactic, women employ a counter-tactic, men respond, and so on - an example would be shitty men kidnapping / raping women, so women going to more dominant men for protection, etc.
The whole patriarchal system was a way for men with shitty genetics to get access to women despite the inherent inferiority of their reproduction. Shitty men with shit genes created children with shit genes who died, and it became a necessity for the women to pump more of the kids out so that at least a couple of them survive. Millions and millions of women have died tearing their bodies apart to give birth to corrupted and inferior children, all so men can get their dicks wet.
Id argue that misandry is completely natural - as its womens attempt to win the sexual arms race. I dont think its a coincidence that the liberty of women correlates strongly with the evolution of pornography - what happened was that men simply ended up changing avenues.

South Korea has a massive incel/simp problem. Their men are terribly mysognistic which is what has triggered their extreme feminist and anti-marriage movements. The Nth Room and Burning Sun cases are two extremely recent cases of severe sexual abuse against women in South Korea. Massive tirgger warning before looking into those cases. And the suic*des of two extremely popular idols named Choi Sulli and Goo Hara who were harassed and mocked for their histories of assualt should shed light on their victim blaming and rigid conservative society as well.

It's sad when you think about few babies are born to couples who actually want them while the rest are born because of reasons ranging from bad life choices to rape.

Among many other reasons I don't want children, I kinda just feel like it's morally wrong to create life on purpose given how shitty life is. I'm a Christian who believes in life after death. However no joke, if I could press a button that could make my entire being cease to exist, I would slap that shit so fast. Maybe I'm depressed, I am tired though. Just tired. So the thought of bringing someone else into this... Nah.
(I completely and totally respect if you want kids and plan to have them, I'm just a product of a shitty childhood with two parents who didn't give a shit so I have a cynical view of things)

But misandry does exist! Do you have ANY idea how many pps go untouched? How many men that don't get laid? How many men that don't get DATES. Men have gone so long with without female touch and attention that they're litcherally dying . This is female privilege at it's finest! Men should be given government funded gfs for these crimes against humanity 😭😭😭
Lol jk. How are they able to spout shit like this without thinking they're stupid af? I mean come in. Government funded gfs?? I blows my mind an incel actually argued for this

Misandry is like reverse racism. It's first and foremost not systemic, nor does it happen on a scale as grand as when the actual oppressed group gets oppressed.

"Far more men than women are victims of violence" says the triggered PussyPass MRA. Yeah, we know, at the hands of OTHER MEN. They are overwhelmingly the victims of MALE-on-male violence. I don't condone ANY violence against men, and it should be addressed much better than it is right now, but these same "what about the men" reactionaries reject pretty much all programs/policies that could actually help deter MEN from committing rampant violence against other men, anyway. They ramble on about being "cucked" or whatever crap and refuse to put their money where their mouth is. That doesn't show they give two shits about each other; to the contrary.
They just want to throw a mantrum and make sure women don't "take control," not actually DO anything to "help men." We see through your bullshit. Men physically harming OTHER MEN is a serious issue and needs to be addressed, but it is NOT misandry. It is a tale as old as time, in fact.
