I was actually in this situation, moved somewhere new and didnt know I was the sidechick. Saw him out with her of 10 years and he said we should meet because they are only discussing business. Once she said they were together I probed her about it and she caught on that he was with both of us. At this point a new guy walked over and asked if he could buy me a drink I said yes he says enjoy hookah with us I invited her too thats when she knew what was really happening. I stayed calm and got an upgrade in the same swoop
