I think this is all a lot easier said than done of course.

Myself personally, I am very picky. It's hard for me to feel romantic feelings towards anyone. I am a generally flirtatious person but I am rarely interested in anyone.

So when someone DOES catch my interest, its really hard to let go. I value the person for more than they are probably worth and they don't realize how special they are to me. I get taken for granted and then people wonder why I'm still single.
