Out of context it seems like this quote is arguing this point but I believe she is pointing out how society treats women. How women are treated as a second class to men, as the other, while men are always assumed the default. Essentially what Invisible Women lays out with data.

This is common knowledge. Men will always get salty when we as women refuse to stand in our "respective roles" aka cook, maid, schoolteacher, caregiver, babysitter, housewife etc.(no disrespect to anyone who does these things for a living) or anything that is inherently "woman's work."

If we try to expand on our skills or branch out to learn new things as human beings with our own autonomy, they accuse us of trying to imitate men. 🙄 Oh puh-leeze, as if any of us want to be useless, rude, whiny adult babies with no skills(other than chronic masturbation and video games), no empathy or emotional intelligence whos only personality traits are "dumb and horny."

They do this, and then they also beg for a "cool girl" who will play video games, watch action movies and sports, so that they can brag to their friends about her. But yeah, she also needs to be obsessed with cooking and makeup. She has to do and like everything basically.

Keep beating this drum, ladies. This used to be foundational knowledge among feminists. Then the third wave came along and now it's cool to be 'like one of the guys'. And then gender identitarianism caught on, and now if you aren't fully invested in femininity you're not really female. (And men who embrace superficial femininity are the real women.)
