He's also talking about it like it was the 1800s and girls were their father's property which "he shall try to keep as pure so, when the time arrives, an eligible suitor may want to take her to be his prope- I mean beloved wife". But to be honest, a big portion of men still talk about it in that manner.

However besides that, at the start, he says that women decide what a good partner is (for example) by the dark triad traits.

Is he actually claiming that women like men with those traits or am I just understanding something wrong? Like women would be attracted to machiavellianism, narcissism and psychopathy? I do understand that people with traits of the dark triad can be charming and good manipulators and thus get their victims "under their spell", but women still don't want people with those features.

I might be wrong though, I am just a silly lady after all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I actually shouldn't even be shocked by him saying that, a lot of men constantly insist that women are into assholes.
