Why would you want either?

I had a guy best friend once! He held on to my phone and wallet for me while we were out drinking one night, because my dress didn’t have pockets and I hated wearing a purse. No biggie, he was my BEST FRIEND!

I texted him from my laptop a few days later and noticed some really suspect previous messages.... which were MY nudes from MY phone, sent to HIM. He went through my phone, sent himself my nudes, deleted the messages and gave my phone back like nothing happened. Even took credit for being such a good pal and keeping it safe for me. He, an android user, had no clue that my MacBook and iPhone could sync messages.

I obviously stopped being his friend out of sheer disgust. A year later, I found those exact nudes on a revenge porn forum that was organized by city/state, and contained my first name and last initial. This means people (read: disgusting men, users of the site) I knew were easily able to identify me, then comment on the post to share more private information (my college, my sister’s name, my place of work, etc.).

I had to contact the owners of the site and tell them I was underage so they would remove the post, after giving me a hard time about it. The photos were re-uploaded within a week and they refused to take them down the second time. Things eventually blew over, but only because hundreds of photos were uploaded to that site every day without any of the women (or girls!!!!) knowing.

This is why I fucking hate men.
