I mean, the reality is that this guy has never had either FWB or a girlfriend and this is all a little theoretical scenario he has concocted in his head because he's mad women (or girls-I actually think he's probably in high school) aren't interested in him. Isn't the whole point of a date is to find out whether or not you have chemistry or compatibility? Ofcourse she's asking you about work, backround, and education on the first date. Why would she waste her time beating around the bush? Why are men so stupid? Goodnight.
