Men only go Dutch with women they’re not serious about/don’t care about impressing (which means he really doesn’t care). When a man sees your value, he doesn’t mind investing money into you. You know where a man’s heart is by what he spends his money on.

If a man was on a date with Gigi Hadid, would he take her to a dive bar for drinks and ask to go half or would he take her to a beautiful restaurant slam his card on the table before the waiter’s done talking? He would do this because he sees her value. If he isn’t paying the full bill for you, he doesn’t see yours.

Also: the men who complain about this also complain about gold diggers. Men who complain about this matter don’t have gold to give in the first place. Men with means and money don’t judge women for wanting the whole bill paid for, only takers do.

Most of the men I date are high status. I've never gone halfsies or paid anything on a date. If any man ever expected me to... He's history. I'm not explaining it to him. Ditto if he can't open the car door every time for me. Also: Paying for dates is not payment for touching me. If a man wants to "pay" for sex, he can call a sex worker.

This is true my bf of several months started to complain about me wanting an appetizer at dinner, which I knew for a fact that if he was still trying to impress me he would not make a deal about it.

A lot of guys are subconsciously(consciously?) evaluating how to impress you early on. If you come off all libfem and desperate to people-please by how cool-girl you are, the guy will let you go dutch at ihop. He will let the waiter know the side of fries was yours.

I say this because I come from money, and I must put off some sort of energy about that (high expectations?). Men would pull out the stops for the 2-7dates-ish.... even the men where spending might of been a stretch. $300 dinners didn’t faze me; I didn’t feel like I owed them anything but the pleasure of my company at the moment. I saw it as this guy is auditioning to be the father of my children. If you think dinner is expensive, wait till you see private-pre-k.

Also, I’m not a compete bitch. If I was not interested, I let someone know as quickly as possible. Also I made sure my company was top notch for the date (I can be a skilled conversationalist). With that in mind, I never got the feeling any of the guys were butthurt about the bill. If anything, they seemed starved for someone to act the way I did.
