Crosspost "I’ve recently noticed that men talk to my male friend/partner instead of speaking to me about matters that relates to myself" from /r/Feminism:

I find it mildly irritating. I went to my mobile phone internet provider to talk about a problem i have with the service. I went there with my friend, who was a guy. To my shock, mostly all the staff that were involved in figuring the problem out were directly speaking to my friend about it, not me. They don’t even look at me.

This isn’t the first time, its very often that they do that. Its a problem i have or smth like that, and they speak directly to him. It just bothered me. Does anyone have the same experience?
