Many people have said this before, the biggest victim of feminism is women themselves.
[–]pkarlmann2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
And why?
Well, a bigger work force means more workers. More workers - this is capitalism, but it is the same in communism - means lesser wages per person.
Happy go lucky! :-(

I think I'll quote Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood here:
"You simply needed to see the truth, with your own eyes" Truth

I don't get it can someone explain?

Feminism sucks for women and men.
[–]shawnmug6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
Because women work now?

Oh yeah, working 45-60 hours a week. Every week. With barely break. Endlessly. For literal decades. Until you're 65 years old and can no longer enjoy any free time you have left. That's a true privilege.
It is 'clearly' a better deal than popping out a kid or two, watching them full time for 5 years until they reach school age, part-time after that, and then barely at all once they hit their pre-teens. And of course having all your food, clothing, gifts, nights out, vacations, a home, all your personal care items, makeup, skin care, jewelry, shoes, handbags, phone, entertainment etc etc fully paid for for the rest of your life.
Anyone who wouldn't give up the latter in exchange for the former is certainly an dense individual indeed...
BUT when women went into the workforce, they didn't expect the first scenario, did they? No. They expected to keep all of the privileges of the second scenario (and then some) AND have the added income and freedom offered by the first.
But unfortunately that's not how it works out. When you ask for equality, that's what you get. Too bad men always had more burden than privilege.. women just only ever recognized (and coveted) the privilege.

Ironically the women in the Twitter post might just end up learning about feminism's message and start blaming men as the ones making the rules.
Truely a sad thing

Yup.
We can't win, it seems like.

“What did they expect?”
They expected to have the lives the top men have, because those are the only men they perceive.
They expected excitement and power and accolades. And ease.
They still don’t understand that 99% of men don’t have these things. They just get angrier that “the good stuff” is still being “withheld” from them.

Its like hypergamy robs these delusional feminist women of basic empathy towards the vast majority of men. We're basically invisible to them, they can only see the rich men.
[–]I_am_MrGentry5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
they can only see the rich men.
That isn't true. They can see the super attractive men as well.

Hence all the “get girls into coding and engineering” initiatives. There are no “get girls into welding and garbage collecting” programs.

Too bad men always had more burden than privilege..
Now it's the opposite. For thousands of years, while women were picking berries, we've been risking our lives to defend the tribe from ferocious animals and other intruders. For the first time in ever, it's finally better to be a man than a woman. Yes, the gynocracy and male emasculating coalition is at full force but, if measures are taken to distance from all the bullshit, we are truly living in a time which kings of old could only dream of.
Walk away from the plantation and let the slave masters tend to their own fields! Non serviam.
BTW thanks for the comment, it was so good that I screenshot and saved it. Cheers!

"Thanks Kate, but I'm not in this situation. Just trying to express how many women feel but won't admit it out loud. 😔
I know you're not one of them and many women are happy chasing careers. Hats off to you!"
This is from her Twitter, she is a wife and mother. She is just speaking for other women who apparently feel that way.

That's basically equality. Men all around the world do the same thing without complaining.

Did someone force her to go to college? At least she had choices. 200 years ago, she would not have been permitted to attend college.
