Im going to Cambodia in mid April, Im in the process of getting my TEFL certification so I can support myself while Im there. I just wanted to see if theres anyone living there now. If not, I would like some advice of how to get settled in, common pitfalls etc.

Semi dangerous 4th world peasant country with ugly women.

Why the hell anyone would want to live there is beyond me.

Everybody I know that did eventually moved to Thailand or the Philippines.

I'm in PP now. But I'm a nomad, living in hotels, so my situation would be different from yours. It sounds like you are going to be an expat.

Yes I am and I am looking forward to it. Have you been to Sihanoukville yet?
