I'm very knowledgable about what's good / bad but hopefully someone else has some good tips that might not be well known.

If anyone is interested I can write out a list of good spots.

This area is strange for two reasons, one if you're living in the heart of the city you have an amazing day game chances and women are more likely to approach. On the other if you're living in NOVA you're having to deal with girls who are getting hit on by a ton of Betas are only looking for yet another number to save as "free food". The one thing I do like about this area is the multiculturalism, there is plenty to go around - yet at the same time there is this undertone of filtering everything in your life down through a moderate point of view. If you're seen as "irregular" to whatever the popular trend/movement at the time is then you get properly ostracized as a result.

In terms of locations, let me drop a few to get the discussion started:

  1. Adams Morgan
  2. George Town
  3. Near either GW or AU university
  4. Tysons corner

Admo:

  • Many bars are filled with people from NE, SE, ghetto MD, etc. so avoid bars that say "No Cover!" unless you are looking for black women or bar fights

Georgetown

  • Unless you are a top 20% man then avoid it. Bars are filled with trust-fund private school assholes that have good game, cockiness and the looks to go with it.

GW / AU

  • I've met more college girls at Dupont bars; they like older men so they tend to avoid Foggy Bottom area

Tysons Corner

  • Just go to DC / Arlington it's 1000x better

There are much better areas and specific bars to go to depending on what you're looking for at the time.

I knew a guy who did very well in gtown. Wasn't loaded but pulled of preppy style and was/is going places. Success in gtown depends on appearing in the top 20, seemingly at least upwardly mobile and being near by in location.

I also know a guy who does very well in Georgetown and he is well beyond my SMV.

That's why I stick to the less competitive areas.

I've done a bit better in gtown than admo or dupont. I don't look great either neither does my friend who does well. It's more dressing the part (probably the biggest difference), confidence other than that I don't think it's that much harder than other parts.

Gtown requires more social proof too. If you're outta shape you are only gonna get really low SMV girls any area.

This is my stomping grounds. If you're free tomorrow night there's a meetup for the Attraction Vault, which is the DC lair if you're into pickup. I'm giving a class earlier in the day at College Park and a bunch of folks are meeting up afterwards at Local 16 for the AV's meet & greet.

My general advice for DC is to not bother with the bars and clubs for anything other and explicit practice. Day game is pretty solid for pickup, assuming you are doing so around the embassies as there's a lot of foreign hotties.

And for god's sake stay the hell away from Ultrabar. That place is essentially a gay bar at this point having anywhere from 4:1 to 8:1 ratio of guys to girls. Total sausagefest on Friday and Saturday nights. Also, this is the club that ran out booze by 11pm during their NYE party a couple years back. It's one of the best examples I've ever seen of a good club under bad management. How it stays in business I'll never know.

My biggest gripe is what he said in the second link:

The few girls who are pretty have princess attitudes because of all the attention they get from the surplus of desperate, horny men. (to be fair this is true about most American women these days in any metropolitan area)

It’s one of the most expensive cities to live in the United States , yet the girls are bottom of the barrel and still expect to be treated like NYC models.

I'm surprised he didn't notice the gay invasion at every bar.

At my usual go to bars I've seen girls go to a bar with a flock of gay bffs and then make out with a couple of them throughout the night.

Girls don't even go out with female friends anymore because they can get all the validation from their pack of gay cheerleaders.
