The left doesn't want to admir there is a problem and the right only offers social conservatism with it's own problems.

Technology like social media and dating apps making it easy to be picky and reject potential partners for superficial reasons
Obfuscation of sex behind gender making the sexes less relatable
Culture movements like #MeToo that make man afraid to pursue women for fear of getting raked for even asking
Aggressive sex laws, like title IX, making men afraid to engage even college sex for fear of consequence to false accusation without due process
Economic decline making it difficult to afford to date
