For some stupid reason on my Twitter in the What's Happening feed there's a news story trending about Kamala Harris inviting every female senator for dinner at the Naval Observatory. How is making something female-only gender equality or presenting equal representation? This kind of blatant gender pandering and favoritism too often passes for equality when it's really not at all and this reminds me of why I don't like Harris very much at all, always finding a way to gender pander and not acknowledge male issues. Gender equality and representation doesn't mean female-only and Harris is re-enforcing that very notion. I don't see the point or purpose at all in inviting only female senators. We as a nation are trying so hard to heal and unify after the four-year disaster that was the Trump administration and stunts like this are so counterproductive to that. I see this kind of BS and it reminds me why Harris was a bad choice for VP. Men and boys face issues of inequality and being underrepresented, and Harris has shown so many times to seemingly not care about that. Gender equality and representation isn't only for females but these days that's unfortunately seemingly the case.
