I dont think Toxic Masculinity or Patriarchy need to be in this list. I think this sub could discuss those 2 ideas in a positive way. Toxic Masculinity is a thing that should be discussed in the ways it does hurt men and we could do that here without castrating ourselves like other subs. We also know here, that men are not the only ones responsible for Toxic Masculinity and can discuss ways in which we could impact the subjugation in which it is used against us.

Patriarchy is a tougher one, but their are societal roles that disadvantage men just as women. I think we could discuss how the patriarchy infantilizes women thereby offering them protections from some of the same plight men face. This is disadvantageous to both men and women as it places an undo burden on both.

In the end I think most of the terms listed are quite hateful and should not be used in discussion much on this sub. Most of those terms are used to slander or silence men and I would be more than happy to see them fall out of favor on here or in public in general.

it's #believewomen... the hashtag appeared in October 2018 peaking and then trailing off. In direct support of Ford's unfounded and probably false accusation. (as per Leland Keyser.)

I think they are quite different things.

These are about shaming men and I consider them nonstarters:

Fragile male ego Fragile masculinity Killallmen Male tears Menaretrash Rapist in the waiting Schröedinger Rapist Yesallmen

These are related to real issues that can be distorted and can be reframed into more positive ways. I dislike them because they usually assume an aggressive intention on the part of men.

Male entitlement Male gaze Male privilege Mansplaining Manterrupting Patriarchy Rape Culture

These are related to experiences of women that we should not tamper with: BelieveAllWomen benevolent sexism internalized misogyny YesAllWomen

And then, there is Toxic Masculinity, which does exist even if the name is not the best.

There is a greaaaat difference between the first group and the second and third. The first one is only about attacking men. The second and third refer to real problem although in ways that tend to be harmful.

So, as most of us probably know, the sidebar of this subreddit, though not outright banning them, warns against overuse of feminist buzzwords, particularly in a non-critical context.

See, I don't read the sidebar that way. I read it as saying that it's OK to criticise feminism, but hardly mandatory. I agree that there's a demographic here who think that the only correct opinion to have on feminism is negative.

Regarding your list I think that most are pretty meh or unhelpful, but I still think that thre's relevance to a handful of them.

Male Gaze I absolutely think is still a thing and is a useful term to criticise media production.
