At work today at my bookstore in the new release section was a book called Awakening about the MeToo movement, and guess which demographic that also experiences sexual misconduct and is in dire need of help and services is ignored? You guessed it... men.

I really can't put into words how much the MeToo and Time's Up organizations disgust me; between how they continue to ignore male victims and never acknowledge female sex offenders and predators, stand by and defend a known abuser like Amber Heard despite the mounds of evidence against her, and of course with their "believe women" mantra in which false accusations can and have landed so many innocent men in prison and their accusers walk away unpunished. This movement has actually made it that much harder for both male and female victims of sexual harassment/assault to come forward but it's even harder for male victims, who have so few resources and organizations to help them contrasted with the countless ones that aid women. Their "believe women" rhetoric is outright dangerous with how so many innocent men have been falsely accused and unjustly imprisoned, and has allowed female accusers and abusers to walk away. Male victims are still treated as a joke and in some cases as even outright non-existent.

I've seen feminists outright brush aside male victims, saying that male victims are a minority compared to female ones and they practically don't care when a woman is a sex offender as they view it purely as a man on woman-only offense. Which is an unbelievably ignorant and hateful view to have, absolutely no different from white supremacists who believe all non-white people to be criminals. Things like rape and sexual assault/harassment have no gender and there's just as many male victims as female ones, and both deserve justice. Male and female sex offenders are equally reprenhensible and disgusting, and both deserve to be punished equally harshly. Yet feminists as usual with their delusional way of thinking warp it into a man vs. woman issue. I've never once seen the likes of MeToo represent male students in schools who get sexually preyed upon by predatory female teachers, which is a serious problem. And feminists will always be quick to pull the old-fashioned "you hate women!" card when you point out plenty of women are sex offenders and have sexually mistreated boys and men, and continue to do so.

I'm probably rambling there a bit, but I had to guess this off my chest. This book pissed me off so much. I'm sick and tired of MeToo weaponizing peoples' experiences with sexual misconduct to demonize all men and how they continue to ignore male victims and female offenders. I'm tired of male victims never getting the justice and help they deserve just as much as female victims, and seeing so many female offenders either get lightly punished or not punished at all just because of their gender and the ill-conceived belief and notion of women being wonderful and faultless.

Good men and women exist.

Evil men and women exist.

Good men and women get raped, sexually harassed and assaulted, and don't get the justice they deserve.

Evil men and women rape, sexually assault and harass, abuse, murder, etc. and both evil men and women who commit such heinous acts deserve the worst punishments possible.

Crime and evil are genderless, and don't care for the demographics and people they harm or outright kill.

Time's up on this terrible, ignorant way of thinking that doesn't do any good for male and female victims, and does nothing to bring male and female perpetraitors to justice.
