I would look at Bill Burr as an example.

I have no idea if he even knows what the mrm or male advocacy is but he probably has done more to get out a message against some of the tyranny of toxic feminist view points and talk about many issues that face men than any advocate out there because he's funny and not very partisan and doesn't associate himself with a movement so he has an easier time not being stereotyped and attacked.

Don't call yourself an MRA or whatever. When you comment as yourself, it's a lot stronger than when you represent a movement. Especially comedy and humor representing a movement are often awful.

What dating is like for men would be a good subject and offer enough possibilities for comedy, especially when you don't avoid self-mockery but at the same time remain empathic.

It's more important that people support men's human rights than give themselves a label.

Men's rights are a natural progression of widely held values like human rights and gender equality. The only reason we talk about "men's rights" is because there are human rights issues that uniquely or predominately affect men, or affect men because they are men.

I think it is better to identify yourself with values, rather than a specific point of view.

I also think that stepping people through a thought process from the beginning is much more convincing than giving them a conclusion straight away.

I mean you could go a couple different routes.

Starting off as a MRA means that you'll mostly be preaching to the choir so to speak but having a targeted audience will help you get off the ground quickly. The other downside is that when you come across as an MRA it automatically creates hostility and close minded thinking (from both sides). Then again you are a left-wing MRA and that is a rare niche in itself so maybe this option isn't so bad to get to guys who are stuck in the right-wing side because they don't have any better options.

The longer route is to not show your hand as a Mens' rights advocate and just sprinkle things that seem neutral in videos.

You want to reach as many ordinary uninvested people as possible. We're never going to convince the feminists but that doesn't matter, because we only need to convince the masses.

Another option to garner attention using SHOCK content for outrage. You do something outrageous. Then when you eventually face backlash, you make another video saying it was just a "social experiment since this is what men go though everyday". Some will not accept it but it might reach a large audience and get many ordinary people to see the other side. Like for example, make a video with guys at a bar using women for free drinks then leaving them better looking women. No one is used to seeing men do that.

Maybe simulate a Twitter experience where a woman you know has to go through her feed and instead of regular stuff, there's incel tweets about women which go viral every 5 minutes. Focus on how that makes her feel and garner empathy for her.

Or men bitching about women saying things like "strong men intimidate weak women". Maybe thats too obvious so like don't make it too obvious with what you're trying to do either. It has to blow up and cause outrage before you reveal your hand. YouTube and other streaming services can take a long time to blow up on so don't hold your breath too much.

Depends... How sciency do you want to get? and what science(s)... is it going to be a social science and psychology oriented perspective or rather a biology/medicine one or both? or others I didn't think off/about?

Me personally: all of the above.

you might want to talk to / look into adin paladin (youtube) who does something similar albeight less men's rights focused and very much down the psychology rabbit whole.
