I’ve done both. But I only get results from the gym

Imagine if therapy was nearly as useful as the gym.

Any good therapist will encourage you to spend ample time at the gym.
[–]Griever1142 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
A good therapist will also make it a point to get you to STOP seeing them.
Anything more than that is a CRUTCH.

We don't, because we like doing and not talking, unlike women.

Every hour I've spent in the gym: results
Every hour I've spent in therapy: useless

The gym is my therapy.

You wind up with chubby guys and rich therapists. What's the benefit?
[–]bieberblows8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
The gym never told me I'm worthless and to go fuck off but therapists have.
[–]Peroxidekid3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Wow, so much for therapy. Hope you're alright.

Thank you bro. I'm good. Hope you are doing well.
When people say I'm delusional that men aren't cared about in mental health, I tell to just watch. When in a waiting room when a guy gets called watch how long he is in the office. He's probably in and out. While a woman is in there for awhile getting her pussy pampered.

Imagine if women went to the gym like they went to therapy

Imagine if women improved their attitude like they try to improve their gag reflex

So sitting around on the therapy couch taking selfies and not doing anything for an hour, then going to the Starbucks next door for a 10 million calorie coffee?
[–]awakenedspirit12 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Spent time, money, and effort in therapy. Gym is quicker, cheaper, and easier to get the EXACT same results. Therapy is for women. Gym is for men.

Imagine if our job environment and legal system didn’t completely fuck over men who went to therapy.

Workout. Because talking about feelings never helps.

Imagine if psychiatrists and psychologists weren't a bunch of liberal feminist cucks with mental illness themselves... imagine if those therapists didn't prescribe psychiatric mess to young boys to destroy the future of society

As soon as seeing a therapist is as affordable as ANY gym in the country, I'll consider it.
[–]rayedward3630 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Therapy can be a good thing, it's just that 90% of therapists are garbage. Not to mention most people don't have the time or insurance to test out multiple therapists.

You know i honestly think therapy is a scam. I scam in the sense of "bang for your buck". You can get more knowledge and closure from reading philosophical books and or relgious texts. I think women like therapy because the therapists has a stake on you and with this biased they tell you what you want to hear and how you want to hear it. Which is a huge flaw that women have because all that matter to them is refinocerment and accpetance. I just think most therapy is fundamental disingenuous.

He has a point gym is good for you but it's good for your body mainly. It doesnt cure mental illness. Even a lot of mgtow it's obvious they are still slaves of women as they carry the bitterness with then every day. Therapy could help them but they're too proud to admit that their experiences left some trauma Mark's on their mind and heart. Doesnt need to be formal or paid for but dedicated effort into mental health is huge.
Also very few men I've seen work out for anything as noble as health. They do it because women like muscles or because they want attention for the way they look ie woman in a mans body. Let's not delude ourselves over the average beta male and his motivations. Dont project yourself on men as a whole its not profitable.

It is proven that physical exercise pumps you up and reduces the risk of depression. In my life whenever I was working out actively I had no depression, whether when I stopped exercising I was less energetic. Mental health is important but having a person making you talk about your problems and giving you head meds is not the solution to it.

pills are never the solution of course. What "is proven" doesn't mean its how it affects everyone who does it nor that they're doing it correctly and effectively. It doesn't matter if they have depression or not and a pump or not, they're still rotten pieces of trash and their workout regimen hasn't truly benefited them at all in the overall scheme of things. Like I said don't project your experience as a universal how something works on everyone. Exercise can be good for you, but you as far as I can tell are a good person innately, anything you do is going to be good at the end of it all. What I'm trying to say is that exercise is a tool, not something with any sort of moral value to it. Going to the gym will make a person in better physical shape, it will not make them a better person unless that's who they already are, and the working out will just be an expression of that. I don't care if someone is depressed or not, I care about whether they behave like a sociopath. Emotional states are temporary, they don't really matter unless you let it impact your life consistently for the worse. The only thing that truly matters in the end is moral conduct, having principles. It's why the red pill experiment was such a colossal failure in the end and all you have on there is a bunch of sociopathic rejects who can't think of anything but how to attract a woman who can't see right through them for the trash that they are, or even worse who are attracted to them because they are the same inside.
