I live in SF and the cops here are a joke. I have a friends thats a cop here and he can't even afford to live in the city. He lives 40 miles away. He said they can't do anything unless a Sargent is on-site or gives the go ahead. I forget the reason why but he said he's watched people rob stores and couldn't do anything. They Only can only deal with violent crimes without approval but theft, robbery, drug deals, ect, he has to wait for it.
