I'm a theist, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I believe in a superior deity that was responsible for creation.

I still don't see why a particular clusterfuck of texts that includes everything from poems to genealogy to history (distorted or not) to moralistic fables written by Near-Eastern Bronze Age peoples, to which was appended some texts written decades after the events they purport to convey and cherry-picked by committees, should be the one and unique truth, nor do I know why a particular national god should be the one true god.

We can track Yahweh through the ages. We know he's not native to the area. We can theorize he was imported from the south by traders. We know Israelites used to be polytheistic like every other people in the area and we know that each kingdom in the area had a national god in a common pantheon. We know there was a switch from polytheism to monolatrism and then monotheism in Israel, probably due to the exile. We can even deduce a rough timeframe of when those shifts happened. We also know that due to unique historical circumstances, namely Paul's insistence that Gentiles didn't need to convert to Judaism to become Christians (which allowed the rise of Christianity as a religion separate from Judaism, rather than simply stagnating as one of its offshoots), prior legwork done in the Roman Empire by sun-worship and other kinds of Eastern mysticism and Constantine's overt support, said national god was imported over to Europe via the Roman Empire where its cult supplanted the native religions over the centuries by remaining intact when the Roman Empire finally imploded, acting as a fount of stability and legitimacy in the face of pagan invasions.

And yet I am to believe that out of the myriads of gods humanity dreamed of, of the countless myths, histories and tales humans have learned and kept for millenia, it's this one god and this one myth that I should believe in and hold for true, to the exclusion of all others. Please.

I think that it's preposterous to pretend that humans can know the divine. I don't know whether the deity is actually deities, I don't know where it stands on the gender-a-meter and I don't know whether it cares or even knows about us and I don't really care to know. For all I know pantheism is right, or the Greco-Roman gods exist, or this world's a simulation, and perhaps we reincarnate or there's an afterlife or there's nothing and I don't really care to think about that either because I know I can't know right now. I'll find out, if I keep the capacity to do so, when I die.

I resent Christian tradcons' attempts to keep us locked in a cycle of servility to a mystical doctrine I'm not even supposed to believe in, in service to a national god that isn't even supposed to be mine, were it not for historical accidents. If a deity exists, it gave me this life to do as I see fit with and I don't think it's concerned with the fabrics of my clothes, my diet or in what I choose to stick my dick in, if I stick it in anyone or anything at all. It has better things to do with its time than micromanage my life and threaten me with eternal damnation if I don't comply. I'm in no hurry to go back to a time where expectations and responsibilities are hoisted on me without my consent.

Frankly, if Western society ends up dying because it can't sustain itself when an organized cult doesn't do the thinking for its constituent members, that's good riddance. Women and most men have become intolerable because they're not reigned in by religion? Okay, that's not my problem, that's not my fuck up to mop up. I will enjoy my freedom as a man responsibly and use it to become a better human being. When a model is unsustainable, my job isn't to prop it up by joining it, it's to denounce it and tell others how stupid it is and hope they listen for their sakes. If they don't, well, that's on them.

A woman may give you some fleeting pleasure. But a woman will most certainly give you obligation, misery, and pain. A woman and the problems she brings necessitate a further entrenchment into the laws of this world: laws of economics to bring home enough money to take care of her desires. Laws of employment discipline to provide the stability necessary for her children. Laws of good conduct that force you to comply with the demands of institutions: if they need you to lie, you must lie. If they need you to toil, you must toil. If they need you to do wickedness, you must do so. For if you don't, you'll get cast out. And all that pleasure will turn to pain.

And if that is not an accurate depiction of "damnation," I don't know what is.

Whether or not this Faustian bargain is worth it is for each man to decide. But the point is that we, as men, have the right to decide, and have been given an example in the form of Jesus Christ. For He said "My kingdom is not of this world," and His kingdom frees you from the demands of this world.

The arrow in the heel of the American Tradcon is how they, in one breath, tell you to put your faith in the example of Jesus Christ, son of God, who never married, quit his carpenter job, wandered from town to town spreading the Good News, giving no thought to bills or establishing a career, as God would provide, and attracted all sorts of people who abandoned their homes and careers upon witnessing the miracles He performed, and hearing what He said.

And, in the next breath, they will tell you that your divine purpose is to prepare for a career, move wherever your career tells you to move in pursuit of money and esteem, and that this money and esteem is evidence of your right to a wife and fatherhood, which is what you must have in order to qualify as a good person.

To me, Tradcons aren't Jesus worshipers. They are marriage worshipers. But their goddess "marriage" is a false goddess, who promises only toil, pain, and damnation. There is no freedom to be gained by marriage, because there is no freedom to be found in women: only a broken record of "I want, I want, I want; me, me, me; more, more, more" that stretches into infinity. That is the wages of the sin "lust", which is the thing women use to bring misery to the world, and to we all.

They love mentioning that divorced guys simply chose the "wrong woman" but I have yet to see any articles by these tradcons on how to make sure the woman you are with is indeed the "right woman"... could it be because there is no sure-fire way of telling if she's a true NAWALT or not.

MGTOW understands that there is no real way of finding out if a woman is a true NAWALT or not and choosing wrong can really fuck up your life, so we choose to assume AWALT and stay single.

I love the "you just pick the wrong ones" bullshit. No, I'm just not a cuck that puts up with the bullshit that 99% of women try to throw at you, therefore I'm "difficult" for standing up for myself.
