why argue with people who are sick in mind and heart? MGTOW is to learn how to ignore those failures of humanity and do whats right
[–]aanarchist5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
to ignore is not doing what is right though. certainly don't let them suck up all your attention, but ignorance is the opposite of knowledge. if a person is willing to have an open conversation you can proceed to dismantle their nonsense, but otherwise our job is to run right through them.

Any person who's capable of being convinced by reason (that is, a 'reasonable person') is exceedingly unlikely to have jumped off the deep end into the SJW camp in the first place.
You can't reason with unreasonable people. Their ideology is a symptom of unreasonableness, not the cause.
Take their symptom for what it is (an allusion to a deeper mental disability) and move on to someone who you can actually help -- someone reasonable who, by definition, is capable of being swayed by reason.

"You can't reason with unreasonable people. Their ideology is a symptom of unreasonableness, not the cause."
Thats exactly the point. Because of this, first do yourself good, then to those who are near to you and deserve it and give no flying fuck about things that do not have anything to do with you. Thats my standard answer to anybody that comes up with crap like this to me: WTF does this have to do with me so that I should waste a second of my life for this

their ideology is a symptom of being fearful order followers. that's why they get so bitter post wall is they're like i was a good girl and campaigned for feminism, i said all the things, i did all the stuff, yet nobody loves me. it's a crab shell mentality based on misinformation. the deeper they go the harder it is to admit that they were wrong. beyond their damaged mental faculties it's important to understand why the society wants them to be like this, that's mainly what i meant tbh.

...for these people their current "gender status" is the important thing in their lives. They live it and breathe it 24/7 to the extent that nothing else exists...in their simple minds for you to question it is tantamount to rape.

Why would you care what others do in private? MGTOW's are undoubtedly viewed the same way by many normies.
"sick in mind and heart" is your opinion sure, but not based in scientific fact.

Based on my own experience with gay, lesbian and transgender people. And I dont't care what everybody else thinks of them as me not caring if anyone likes my beliefs or not. Live and let live

I'll take common sense and experience any day over "scientific fact". Science has been proven and disproven countless times throughout history. Common sense and real-life experience will always prevail. In my personal experience, all LGBT are mentally-ill. I don't give a fuck what anyone has to say about that. Scientific "fact" will not change my personal experiences with them, and my prejudices I was not born with; they were accrued over time. Science can suck my hairy balls if it's going to come to shaming and condescension.

I love how their brains started malfunctioning in the presence of logic and the only irrational thing to do left was ban you.

It's really unfortunate how LGBT was hijacked by angsty retards. Each letter in LGBT has very little in common with the other letters, but the groups had to unite against a common enemy - religious fundamentalists who said LGBT were abominations, evil, pedophiles, etc. Now, people self identify as being part of a single LGBT group. They don't see it as a loose alliance of different groups. These new dipshits who want to be part of a group can't honestly say they are lesbians, they can't honestly say they are gay, and they can't honestly say they are bisexual. The only thing left is to self identify as being non-binary and then shoehorn their way into a group.
One of my exes is a great example of this. She had a mental breakdown and started to identify as non-binary. She hit the LGBT scene and she participates in stuff, but legit gay and lesbian people can't stand her. They know she is not one of them. They know she is full of shit. She just wants to be part of something.

I'm gay, and growing up my best friend was a lesbian. We had in common that we were both not straight and we were both interested in ideas, so we had loads to talk about. Now we are in our twenties, we have absolutely nothing in common.
The only way I can describe it is that it's like the female brain switched on in her head, particularly in relation to money and status. She's got married and their life plan is, from what I can see, to become priests, live in a free house provided by the church, and not really do any work while having a consumer lifestyle. They have just blown all their savings on a massive wedding. These days she accuses me of being obsessed with money because my boyfriend and I make financial decisions that are in our best long term interests rather than blowing all our money on stupid shit. There are numerous examples of this, but to cut a long story short it's as if she is completely incapable of thinking about the future financially: if I try to explain why I'm doing x instead of y because it makes sense in the long term it's like I'm speaking a different language. Her being a complete parasite and consumer is all the more infuriating as they have this Christian holier-than-thou "we are so compassionate and care about the poor" thing going for them when they absolutely love spending money whilst not doing real work.
On the status side of things, she now seems to be really really interested in projecting how "successful" her relationship. I personally doubt any heterosexuals are ever impressed or intimidated by gay couples at all, but it is very obvious that she wants to be perceived to be in a successful relationship. Once she basically said I was in a dysfunctional unloving relationship because my boyfriend and I don't put pictures of ourselves on facebook in restaurants and stuff - it's an absolute joke.
Long story short: gay men and lesbians, at least in my experience, behave totally differently, and I don't think we have the same outlook on life or political aims at all. This probably wasn't the case in the past when gays and lesbians suffered real discrimination - if we were closeted adults we'd still probably have plenty in common. But now as adults, I go about my life as a man, she as a woman, no one really cares about our sexuality, and we can't stand each other. I think gay and lesbian teens can get on extremely well, but I don't think they can carry it through into adult life.
Now that homosexuality is more socially acceptable, I'm starting to see exactly what you mean. It seems like many or most gay men are just men who happen to be gay. They are still men. They think like men. They act like men. A lot of gay men are actually very conservative on a wide range of topics.
The republican party in the US is an interesting case study. It's not exactly a secret that the republican party is loaded with closeted gay men. I remember a hilarious article where the number of people on a gay hookup app exploded when a city had a republican national convention. There's also that weird thing where certain republicans would talk about homosexuality being a choice. Actual straight people have no idea what they are talking about. I've never had to choose between men and women. Men were never an option for me, but that "not gay" republican said it was a choice for him. Now that more gay people are out in the open, we see a lot more openly gay people aligning with conservative groups. In my opinion, that doesn't appear to be a societal change. Gay men were conservative in the past as well, but they were quiet about their personal life.
"LGBT" appears to be an alliance between groups with wildly different political opinions to defend against the more absurd attacks from political extremism. When crazy assholes are talking about throwing gay men in jail, those gay men are forced to align themselves with women who would otherwise be their political opponents. As long as nobody is talking about doing horrific things to homosexuals, the groups can revert back to aligning by gender rather than sexuality.
TL;DR: the enemy of my enemy is my friend. If there is no common enemy, the friendship quickly dissolves.

Common sense is so rare, it should be considered a superpower.
stop engaging in debate with them. just start calling them what they are. they're racist and sexist.
I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. -- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
the civil rights act requires that everyone is judged on their character, not on race, sex, religion etc. progressives judge people EXCLUSIVELY on race and gender. that's racist. that's sexist. they're fucking cancer.
