Reminds me of my first job in IT. I had been in the job 3 years. I took a 2 week holiday and grew a beard during that time.

On my first day back in the office, a female Project Manager saw my beard, walked up to me and pointed to my beard, and said angrily "get rid of that" and walked back to her desk in a huff.

I emailed my Line Manager, he confirmed there is no policy on beards; thus, I felt even more determined to grow the beard even longer just to wind her up... and wind her up it did indeed :-D

I laugh a lot about guys with beards. They'll be pushing a pram with a kid with this fat-ass wife beside them and they'll have this beard to show that they are still manly. Really, mate?

Any LTR will eventually become female-driven. It's inevitable. Doesn't matter how Chad you are. I'm 60 and had a 8 year relationship and I had to end it a few months ago because I just couldn't take it. It gets to a point where your girl will bitch about everything that doesn't involve them.

And you see these simps with their beards as the women dominate their lives.

I have had a beard, wolverine chops, mutton chops like Lemmy, a goatee, handle bar moustache, a big twirly moustache, a moustache and mutton chops, a soul patch and sideburns like the 70's, heavy stubble... and my least favorite, clean shaven.

Beards are masculine. My ancestors are scottish, I'm supposed to have facial hair.

Fuck that! The one I am working onescaping tried to shame me into shaving and losing the beard. I told her no! My face; my choice! I am growing one. I am now happily sitting here with another beard on my face. I have only ever shaved it off if I neglected the skin underneath and had psoriasis issues that caused massive bearddruff. He is a MAN! He should just choose to grow one!

Beards were very common throughout human history. Than rich men started shaving because they could afford regularly to go to the expensive barber. So no beard meant higher status but not everyone can shave with razers at home so it lost its status meaning.

I have a friend that always had some kind of beard, then he came over for a few beers and he looked like a baby. He explained his fiance makes him shave... I just shook my head.
