MGTOW, at least to me, doesn't have rules that need to be in concert with anything. MGTOW is nothing more than doing what is meaningful to you.

You need to know a bit more Soticism to understand #1 and #9.

Stoicism was the main philosophical thought for 700 years or so. It is the basis of Christianity (take Stoicism, add a personal god, savior, and an afterlife in heaven or hell and you have basic Christianity. Indeed, St Paul knew Senea's bother and Seneca was the leading Stoic of his day.)

Stoics back then believed that each human had a divine spark and it was the same in everyone (Christians today would say everyone is your brother.) Some modern philosopher argue there is something that connects us which is why we will risk our lives in an emergency to save a total stranger. Joe Campbell used a modern image to explain the same idea: He said we are all like light bulbs in a bank of light bulbs. While each light bulb is separate and different they are all lighted by the same electricity. Thus when a light bulb burns out only the bulb is gone, that which made it shine still exists.

It was in that kind of context that Aurelius was saying be kind to everyone and help each other because in his way of thinking we are all related, interrelated and one. Be nice to the light bulb next to you ‘casue we’re both lit by the same divine spark. The presumption is as we all have the same spark it was the divine's intent that work view ourselves as one. Mistreating someone else is mistreating yourself.

Those are the rules for stoicism - as practiced, or at least, as expressed by Marcus Aurelius. So, not the rules for MGTOW - but they're pretty good rules, and you don't need to stop being MGTOW when you start being a stoic.
