Alltough I draw a parrell between MGTOW and feminism there is a very big difference. I'm in my 50's and have already been married. Not all MGTOW are young, and not all of us have just had a bad breakup and are still hurting.

The truth is women aren't what they once were - if they ever were, really. Plus the governments in our respective countries have spent many decades bending over backwards to make women happy - and forgot men need to be happy about marriage too, otherwise being the rational creatures we are we will opt out.

Women are human beings; but the last several cohorts of Western women have been "spoiled" by a combination of worthless praise (Just being a woman makes you "great") lack of work (when men's job's got automated, we were given new work; when the household got automated, women had less to do) and social media...where every woman gets to feel like a queen and her idea of normality and an "equal" relationship gets distorted.

I do wish people wouldn't dehumanise women, I don't want this to be a hate sub, plus it's pointless anyway.....no-one's listening so the best thing to do is GYOW. Men have always been able to look after themselves; historically we're famous for it (Hell there's an 82 yo naked Japanese hermit in the news right now) whereas women mostly can't.

Don't be angry at us for choosing to go our own way; isn't it your gender that keeps emphasizing the right to make choices about yourself? So how can you criticise us for exercising the same right?
