even in my more or less blue pill days i knew not to pay a woman's student loans off. in fact i knew not to get legally bound to a woman that had debt of any kind. it makes no sense to invite shared debt into your life that came about from before she was riding your rod.

My understanding of common debt was it only goes back to the point of cohabitation or even the signing of marriage. This is a very typical story but working simp meets a student and marries her before she she graduates or even gets a job (and in many cases she never finds one because that degree in Feminist Literature isn't very employable).
